if you use PEAKCHRG, set the MAH to 3900 or 4500. the yokomo guys here use 4500. i set mine to 3900 because my batteries arent as good as their. for the temp, 44degree C. 45 is a tad hot.

and for voltage.. set it to 10.0v. and of course.. charge at 5-6amps depending on your race conditions. good luck!
Why 10.0v, wouldnt that only let your batteries get up to 1.60 v then?

nick, if your packs aren't peaking by 10v there is something very wrong...

decent packs are supposed to peak right about 9v, mine are only 1.15's and are getting old so they get up to 9.3 or so, but 10v means you need new packs

Way to go and thanks for the support!

I had a fun day racing yesterday at the trinity ORL series race #4. Although I didn't do that well, 5th in B main, I still had a blast. Fukuyama Mako stock motors, brushes and batteries was the only combo I was running! They were making tons of rip, only my driving was letting me down. I finished each race just as strong as the beginning and had 120-150 seconds of power @30 amps left in the cells after the race.

Thanks again to Dan and his staff for the superior products. I was approached by many people yesterday saying how well the cells and motors were. I was very happy to hear that!

Until the next race....

John

It was good to see you at the track yesterday for the ORL race. I ran my Fukuyama packs in mod and finished 4th in A-main. Ran a Orion V2 9x2 touring and still had about 70sec after the race !! That's some good cells. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunatly not, in the UK each Brand of motor has to be homoligated on it's own. With the numbers needed to be available for sale in the UK it doesn't look like the Mako will be legal here for quite a while.

Didn't even know that fukuyama had a UK import. I heard that one company was after them but no go. It would be great to see some adverts in UK magazine (or unless I have missed them )to get some more interest in the Mako and fukuyama products, and then sell a bulk load to get them passed by the BRCA.

Hmmm. Even now when you mention it, I had to take a really close look to figure out what you meant
