If you're looking for good pack life, 5 amps with about a 35-45mv peak detect across the pack should do fine. Won't be the fastest thing for stock racing but you're not really straining the cells much either. Make sure you discharge to 5.4v let cool and store. And never force cool your cells. That can quickly cut down on the life of them.

I bet you're excited. These motors are great, and I have had first hand experience with them.

I am very curious to see how its going to perform. This motor is going into my 12th scale. I just bought and ran a Team 1 Racing Monster motor that is really strong, so I am curious to see how they compare to each other.

I will post my opinions for sure.

Right now, I have 3 monster motors, Birdman, Banzai, and Team 1. The strongest is the Birdman, this thing just flies, next is the Team 1, and then the Bazai.

For me, I gear them the same and run them back to back to compare them.

Its not a voluntary recall on the consumers part, they are recalling all of them.........when they say voluntary, they mean that THEY are doing it by their own accord, not by mandate from a federal or state agency.

Hence why the site says to discontinue use immediately....

If you're going to run them on a 12th scale, then I would suggest you change the negative side spring to Green. Ours come with Red on both sides and is tuned for On-Road, but a very easy and slight change will make this motor rock in 12th scale. Let me know if you need any help. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I will do that before I run it.

Nice. You better have another one because someone's going to want to buy it at your track because you'll outpunch your competition.
