I told her it was a very expensive charger called a GFX. She asked why I don't have one. I said because they're $400. Get this. She said "So, you should get one. You're a fast guy, you need the best stuff right?" AWESOME! So Dan, when I get the cash together, I'll call you.
That's true love, you almost made me cry

Lucky you. My wife dont share this point of view. But fortunately she spend a lot of money on clothes. Makes us kind of even...

If proper care is taken of these cells, you can't beat them. For stock racing you want as much punch and speed out of the cells as you can since leagally you're not supposed to be getting that from the motor. So you need to get the highest voltage you can afford. Low IR and high voltage = more punch and more speed.

Just follow the recommended charging and discharging steps on the Fukuyama Racing web page. These cells will last a long time and you will not have any problems with them. My packs are still producing the labeled numbers on a GFX after 4 months. Not too shabby I would say.

They are good. I havent tried the other matchers, but I'll bet you cant go wrong with Fukuyama.

Recently I got myself 2 packs 1.160-1.164. First they were good, but not THAT impressive. Powerfull for a long time, but the punch was a little dissapointing. But after 4-5 practise sessions, they are insane.

It's like a well performing 1700 NiCd pack in the first 30 seconds - just better! Add in that they do like this for around 5 minutes (maybe more).....

Numbers: On my Eagle CDC v6, I've tried discharging them at 20 amps. They stay on the happy side of 7,0 volt for 5 minutes....

Partial charge for storage?

As far as I understand, storing for a week, is fine if the packs are simply discharged at 20 (or 30) amps down to 0,9 volt pr. cell. At long time storage, there should be some mAh's left in them.

But when is it long time storage? 2 weeks? 4 weeks? And how many milliamps should I put in them, 20%?

Thanks.
