They're in the works. Some unexpected delays came up but they are in the works.

Hey guys. Hope your weekend was fun and exciting if you were racing! I raced in my last trinity ORL race indoor carpet with foam tires . This was a points series and made A main in 1/12th scale mod and B main for stock touring (placed #8 in both classes after 4 races, not shabby for 60+ entrys in both classes). It was a lot of fun and happy with my results. Fukuyama power did not let me down at all, the races were tight and I started and completed all 6 qualifiers and two mains (no broken parts!). I was ripping very fast in stock touring with my fukuyama cells and motor. Boy are you guys going to like this combo!! Plenty of punch and top speed running the fukuyama monster at a 7.31 final gear ratio with 59mm tires.

Now my outdoor season is right around the corner.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask!

Happy Racing!
John

i had my first racemeet on sunday, and i loved it

the batteries rocked, although my car setup was a tad questionable (only getting a pinion big enough to run a vaguely decent gear ratio 10 mins before the start of my first heat)

i qualified for the A finals of 540 pro, from 16 entrants i was #7, so i'm quite happy with my results from my first ever day of racing, even though i had to leave before the finals to go to work

Hey John... keep us updated with the motors... I tried the Epic Binary yesterday for pro stock and was a little bit dissapointed with it for inconsistency(although I did TQ the race and got 2nd overall...)! I'm thinking of switching back to the Monster... and if Fukuyama brings it out soon... that would be awesome!

BTW, Hebiki(Chris) and I used a couple of brand new Fukuyama 1.15 (so called practice packs!) for qualifying in our 19t class yesterday... I was surprised on how much punch those cells made for what sub par spec they are! Wow... I qualified my Evo3 to 6th in the A 19t and Hebiki ended up qualifying 3rd in B-Main... oh yeah, and there were about 30 racers who entered 19t so it was pretty good for practice packs!

I've heard the Binary motors are pretty touchy and hard to get just right. I actually have only run stock once in the last ten months so I'm not exactly a stock guru by any means. But we'll keep you guys updated with them.

Wow, 1.17's are still listed in stock on Fukuyamas website. I can't believe they haven't sold out yet! I'm glad the numbers are coming around.

I had some (3) of the binary stocks but sold them really fast after my first testrun.

I did fry one motor after three mins. Don't know what happened? Didn't ask too much of it with the gearing but somehow it totally burned out?

My outdoor season also started last sunday. Did some nice runs with my 12 turn and 19 turn motors and must say that I was really fast with the Fuku-packs. It looked really promising. Weather was a bit cold so there wasn't much grip yet but my times weren't that far off.

@John
My XRAY with the short arms really rocked on the small outside track! On a small track it's faster in my opinion.

Peter - glad to hear that you like the xray short arms and that your car was ripping fast. I do not have many short asphalt track so I'll stick with the longer arms. That combo and my bmi chassis is very stable.

Sorry you had problems with the quad, I have heard this many times. Maybe after a bunch of production runs they'll work out the bugs so it's as good as the monster.

John
