Yep, Nexus, that was me.

TamiyaDriver and I were sitting at that last table, across from tech. You got a picture of my car, TamiyaDriver's car, and NonStopOne's Yokomo BCS charger.

Nice to meet you, and thanks for making us famous...er...infamous.

Works good I must admit and I've found the best out there is Kester's. Yes, both 60/40 and 63/37 will work fine and I've tried both.

Dan
I personally think "Kester's 44" is the best solder there is. I have a bunch of friends that are EE, and this is what they use.

I have to agree about Kester's solder, while I usually buy the cheap Radio Shack stuff on my own, at work we use Kester EXCLUSIVELY, & I do really like the stuff(we also use the 63/37 solder more than anything else, but we also have access to 60/40 & heavy silver{no lead} solder for when anything containing lead is not allowed)...Oh Dan, I know I haven't called you yet about the Novak race, but I'm getting a BIG payday next week, so I figured that'd be the best time to take you up on that "goodie"....

They Hakko he wanted was on backorder and he needs an iron for this weekend. I was able to get him the Weller WES51 like mine and 2 new tips. Also a plus that I will be racing with him this weekend so I can deliver it to him.

Thanks losirob, although our number might not look at attractive, but they are what they are and once you run them, you'll know that we've put in heaps of efforts in processing the making them Race real! Glad you like your packs and continued supporting Fukuyama Racing. My hats off to you for your excellent performance at the Novak Race. Thanks.

Digital readout is cool. Mine don't have it but thats ok as long as it melts solder and surely kicks a$$ at doing that so I couldn't be any happier. Digital still would be cool though.

I like it because I know when the tip is back up to temp, so I dont have to rest it on whatever I'm soldering for long at all.
