Thanks. I always forget to turn off the choke after start and the engine chokes and coughs. LOL.. But it is by far one of the best gens I've ever owned. Thanks.

Unfortunately, not at all! it's been tough and the cells are giving us a slight runtime increase but the voltage remains 1.16 with only a handful of 1.17s which is hard to match by runtime/voltage/IR. I'm hoping there will be some more once we run through the other 1400 cells we have sitting in the process. The thing is, they sell before we even begin processing and we're constantly fighting to fill back orders. Last week with Tosolini there at the office, I was pulling from his reserve tray and our other Team driver's trays just to fill orders for our Hong Kong distributor. Toso was kind enough to allow me to pull his packs so we can meet the demands. (Thanks TOS!). The lower voltage and runtime is an industry wide thing and I know of a few matcher and distributors are all experiencing the same thing. Its a common thing when GP goes from long cans to a shorter can trying to retain the capacity and voltage. But again, this should change early on next year ( in a couple of months).

We'll also be processing our cells on the newly revised CET2 system to allow some further enhancement on the cells we have now so there should be some as high as mid 1.17s. Still nothing in the high 1.179 range since we didn't want to push the cells and stress them.

Default 1.17s and above

Guys, just for your information.

Please check back with me after Christmas for higher numbers as we've found a way to boost these new shorter can cells to increase slightly more on the voltage side and still average 400+ runtime. We're working overtime and have found a new method which these newer stubborn cells will take to increase its voltage.

Our CET2 system now is upgraded with a higher capacitance zap at a slightly higher voltage allowing it to enhance the core a little better. These cells after running this method will remain on par with the 2nd Generation GP that we all seemed to like voltage and IR wise. So, Please stay tuned!

Dan, like you said, the cells perform great on the track so I have no need to send them back to you. I don't have an octane 2, but I do have a real time 2. I'll try cycling a pack twice with a 6 minute rest, I think the T35 uses a 30 second rest if you use the cycle feature.

I don't think I've ever seen a six cell pack from ANY matcher with the EXACT same numbers for voltage, IR, AND run time. To do that I would think would be just about impossible. Each cell is going to have a little bit different profile than the next. I've seen some very close but not exact.

I can vouch for what Dan said about storing them, McLaren, I've had to let my 4 cel packs of GP3300's sit for as long as 4 or 5 months(when I just couldn't get my 1/12 scale to work on our local track), & I did what he said. And when I got a chance to run them again(on a carpet track a couple of hours drive away), they woke up just fine. And btw, my 4 cell packs are the oldest ones, first-generation cells(the ones that had that ugly lime-green shrink wrap, before they added all the multi-colored ones).....

I don't anticipate any problem with those numbers in mid January. Please check with us first. Thanks.
