Just a quick report that I was TQ and took 2nd place in Intermediate Stock Truck at SoCal's big offroad event, the SuperCross. Of course I was powered with Fukuyama Batt's. I would've taken first but flipped on one of the last big jumps and lost by 1.5 secs. Oh well, I guess that's why I was racing INT.

The batts had great consistant power the whole weekend!!!

Thanks Dan!

could it be that GP is losing control of their maufacturing process?

also, i did read before in this thread, that they were getting less high volatge batts from the recent batch of cells... hence the rumors that trinity were cornering the good cells (whcih have been dispelled)
Trinity is NOT cornering the market. It's just an industry wide thing where GP is trying to cramp so much capacity into the shorter cans that they're already working on ways to around that. Possibly thinning out the inner/outer insulators. I think is a month or tow, the cells will all come back to life with crazy voltages again. But till then, these batts we have went through some furter research and have yield higher voltages then others but only from case to case. Some we were getting consistent 1.17s while others were 1.16s. Still nice numbers compared to 1 year ago.
