Default run time on gp 3300's????

Hey guys, I finally got to run my 4 cell fukuyama cells this weekend. I ran a 10 dbl in 1/12 scale, I had great punch and great run time. I TQ'd and won in 1/12 scale mod, Thanks Jimmy and Dan for great batteries.

After I was done, I discharged the packs at 20 amps and found to have 25 to 38 seconds left and 230 to 255 mah left. I was gentle on the throttle and I was told that I might have to gear the car different.

I want to keep my cells with as much run time as possible, do you have any suggestions that would help me keep my run time? I have a rayspeed discharger equalizer and conditioner if that helps....

let me know

Ronnie

Picco, if you still have about 25-30 seconds left when you discharge then your are geared just about right. You could also go up 1 tooth. I usually have about the same amount of discharge seconds. You can usually get about 3 more laps. You could also take some timing out of your motor or add a reciever pack and charge at 5 amps instead of 6.

Dan I won't be going to the Birds not enough money right now.

I think I convinced SpeediePhatt to get some Fuku cells. He saw how my 12th scale ripped it's way to a TQ and win today.

Another note I was running 19t with some tropical storm team guys tonight and at first I was running my PMR 3300 Sanyo's from last year and I was getting smoked down the straight. So I put the Fuku's in and problem solved. I just need to learn how to drive that dang xray though.

Default Thanks Scrad

I have heard some people on the other forums saying they are loosing 120 seconds of run time off of the gp 3300's. Have you heard this and what do we do to keep the run time at its max?

I would appreciate it.

I've had my packs for 4 months now... and I'm still getting over 3600mah after I charge them up at 6amp with my Integy 16X5V6 and have plenty of runtime left.

Thanks, are you discharging them to 5.40 and leaving them until the next weekend? or are you putting them in a tray at one point? I would appreciate it.

You'll probably see IR's around 14 to 16 and runtimes around 400 to 410.
