Mostly all the new GP cells have runtimes between 380 to 430 with 380 meeting the specification charge of 3300mah. However, we routinely see runtimes of 420+ and in some case 430+ It varies and most are between 400 to 420 with lots of 415s on the average. Hope this answers your questions. Happy Racing and Happy Thanksgiving.

Well my fukus have been shipped out promptly, and before i get them i just wanted to confirm the charging & maintenance procedures, to maximise life & performance of my awesome new cells :P

ok so i recieve the packs in the mail, take them to a race meet. first thing after i get there is to equalize the packs. then charge for the first race at 6 amps with 50mv cutoff for the whole pack (peaking at around 145 degrees farenheit), repeak if necessary, race, discharge to 5.4, leave to cool, charge again for the next race etc etc however many times i run the pack that day... at the end of the day discharge to 5.4 and store until next race day. then the whole cycle starts again.
Is all this correct?

also, can anyone with a CDC give me any charging/discharging tips specific to this charger? is the cutoff etc all the same?

thanks everyone

ps. keep up the good work fukuyama, you guys are awesome!

I've been using the Fukus with great success with the CDC 6.0, I charge at 6A with a 30mV peak detect. A bit conservative but it should ensure some decent life from my packs.

Default Mid Week Racing...

Another weds night series...

Another win for Fukuyama!

Last night I TQ'd and won the A Main! The Fukuyama cells are still providing plenty of runtime and punch.

This is my set-up for power...

FT TC3 powered by:

Fukuyama GP3300s
Trinity Monster Stock Pro w/ Team Hurricane Gold Brushes

If you like 4499s or even 767s I would definitely try out the Team Hurrican Golds....they are the best brush I have raced with to date.

Have you tried the Putnam green brush? It definately packs more power than the 4499 and 767, propably similar to what you're running, might be worth a shot.

randman.

i've heard great things about the putnum brushes.

i really like the Team Hurricane Golds and they are probably very similar. one of the advantages for me is that the owner and team drivers are regulars at my local track so i get great tech tips and support from them.

the 767s and 4499s are great but definitely the putnams and hurricanes are a step above them.

any news on Fukuyama Motors and brushes....
