It goes together pretty well, the parts fit on Yokomo is good. I may have a new idea that will solve the flex/tweak problem, and I get my mill in just a couple weels to make the idea come to life

Hell I dont even have the time to paint either! Now I just need a good location for the Fuku stickers!

Happy racing!
Niiiiiiiiiice! man! that's a sweet body! I would suggest one FR logo on the back where the plain blue is, then another on the side in front of the checkered flag if there's enough room.

Just confirmed with Tosolini on the phone and he'll be there. Jimmy won't be back for another few month so I don't know if any other of our East Coast drivers will attend.

You can countersink with a drill press, and they are a bit cheaper...

I've thought about countersinking the top deck as well... but I find the top deck is too narrow where the screws are. Countersinking that area may make it weaker and the top deck isn't thick to begin with. I may have to cut out my own top deck as soon as I get some 3mm graphite.

Counter sinking the shocktowers are easily done with a hand drill and countersink bit. Only need to countersink the 2 upper mounting holes. I may do all four later to make it look consistant.

Yep. Filed the edges of the battery slots, glued them and than glued the outside perimeter of the chassis Cells sit nice a snug in the holes without scraping on the bottom of the chassis Lookin good so far Need to ask Tos some building tips as well.

Chris! Building tips for the MR-4TC SD please?

I could always make a nice upper deck for the R2... But with the new mill, the focus will propably look towards the R3

Dang, you're fast, I havent even finished half of my RS chassis (I hate chassis prep

I got very lucky on mine, I got the graphite gearboxes, and the mold seems to be awesome, I have the gears pretty tight together (for modified) and they spin very free and quiet

They should be interchangable..
R2 and R3 are fairly similar in design. just minor changes on the R3. Do you have Acad? If I can free up some time...I'll draw one up and forward to you. along with my shock towers.

I think we're getting sidetracked on Dan's Fukuyama thread.. should take this to the 'Cuda and SD thread's....

You'll definately like them!
It will be the best cells you've ever raced with... soon you'll be following the Force and adding Fukuyama to your sig.
