Not yet Jamie. I'm looking at a different case to ensure ROAR approval. The previous ones were good but I don't want to take a chance ordering 50 batteries and have the cases crack and not be usable in ROAR races. I've got 2 of the 6-60 packs (6,000mah 60c) on the way with new cases and if they check out as I expect I will have 58 more to follow!

I know it's taking a while but with limited capital I have to be extremely sure what I do works the first time. Both my name and my family depend on it being a success with no do-overs. I appreciate the patience from everyone and guarantee it will be worth it.

Thanks.

I did notice on the 3800 I have the case felt a little flimsyish, I sent ahead and shrink-wrapped the outside so dirt didn't get inside. Great catch Jon!

Not much to report other than Won the B-Main in Mod SCT with my HV powered SC-R and took 4 in Mod Truck/Buggy (didnt have enough for a full class of either ) both races were 10-minutes and my 3800 still had a ton of punch at the end of the SCT main

That's what I was guessing. I am thinking about getting a 3800 or 2 for my 2wd buggy. I like running a little smaller size in it. I have the 6000s that I run in my 1/8 and in my sedan and they have been great. I have carved them at 2c since after the first few charges when bv first got them

The 3800 packs actually use the 6000mah cases. So you also felt some dead space in between the cells and the case itself. I have looked into this and when the 3800s are released they will be in it's own case designed specifically for that pack making it stronger, lighter, and no dead space in it. However, I'm focused on getting the 6000s out so those are on the back burner for now.

The 3800 packs do take over 4,000mah. I purposely underrate the packs instead of slapping a bloated capacity claim on there like many companies do. I want racers to be SURE what they are getting. Not just hope there pack lives up to the claim. That's also why I have a graph included with each battery showing discharge and charge curves, internal resistance, and capacity taken in or out. I will never sell a pack that does not meet the claimed capacity within 5%

On another note, I have finally gathered the resources and saved the pennies to allow the first order. I am awaiting response from the other side and will hopefully have the packs in a couple weeks if the details can get hammered out as quickly as I hope. I'm very excited and think these packs will be game changers!

Thanks to all!

Dang, just a couple of days late for our first state race! I could really use some new packs too. Oh well, I guess I'd have to wait a bit for ROAR approval anyways. Can't wait to get my hands on some of these.
