Assuming you mean for our SYNERGY 17.5 motor, I would run 72-34 with 5 degrees of motor timing to start.

Yesterday was first race with Synergy 13.5 in 12th scale. Settled on a 80mm rollout. Motor was very strong from start to finish. Great work Murf. Now I gotta get my car to roll more in the corners.

Default 1s 17.5

Hey Murff,

It's Jim Harden here in KC. Do you do 17.5 1s motors? We are just getting into 17.5 carpet oval truck racing and are looking for something other/better than the Novak ballistics everyone else is running. LMK

Jim

PS- still gathering $$$ for the CBJ motors we'll need , too

Just wanted to say thanks to Matt for all the support and help with all the little things that when put together make a big difference. whether its motor work and gearing, chassis set up or driving technique Matt has been there and I appreciate it.

The new Synergy motors are just plan awesome, you did a really good job on developing the perfect blend of power and speed.

I ran some mod 2wd buggy this year as an extra class with the 13.5 murfdogg synergy motor and not once was a pulled down the straight away by fellow teamates or competitors running 8.5's. The car was plenty fast and produced more bottom hit then all of the other 13.5's in my class.

Thanks again Matt for all the help.

Josh - You are always welcome. You were one of the few who stood by me during the development stages... I truly appreciate that! You are one of the fastest guys in So-Cal, and its been a pleasure to work with you. You have never doubted me and my advice, and our results have been great. You know I am a know it all smart A$$, however, i tend to know what Im talking about when I choose to open my mouth...

You are a great representative of the MurfDogg brand, and I look forward to working with you through 2011 and beyond. When I put you on the team 2 years ago, I gained a great driver, and a great friend.

Thanks,

Matt Murphy

Matt, ran the 13.5 again yesterday in 12th scale. Motor is ballistic. Ran a 9 sec flat fast lap with a car that had a weak servo saver. Motor seems to like having 5 degress of mechanical timing. 79mm rollout and she came off the track @ 143* after an 8 minute run.

Was racing at a new track in Etters Pa. Thanks for the awsome motor. I

Etters! That is the same town as Bumps and Jumps!

My ex girlfriend lives in LANK-U-STER LOL.

You should come hang out when I am at Bumps for the US Open Wheel Dirt Oval Championships in December.

Glad you like the motor!

Matt I don't know how you did it, but this 13.5 is strong from start to finish. 2 weeks in a row and I can pull the same lap times at 8 minutes that I'll pull in the first 2. And the motors not going over 145 degrees.
