Thumbs up Dave Johnson wins again!

Johnson and Speedzone Win Again!

Msi's 3rd annual anniversary race was held this past weekend. The race is a lead in to the great Grand Slam series which starts on October 28th.

Dave Johnson and Speedzone Batteries prove once again that they are the guys to beat this season, going undefeated in all attended races so far!

Dave tq'd 17.5 12th scale by 10 seconds and put a full lap on the field in the main!!!!

In 17.5 touring car, Dave also tq'd and drove flawlessly for 6 min to take the win by 5 seconds!!!

hey team, a little update from me on my local finishes, Thursday night I ran short course truck and 12th scale (my local tracks lays jumps on the track for SCT) and took 2nd in SCT as well as a win in 13.5 boosted 12th scale. I then backed that up with a win in 12th scale and world GT on saturday. Had the fastest truck/ cars in the feild! Thanks Gavin, I was planning to attend the Halloween Classic this year but had some family issues and will have to be taken care of that weekend, maybe next year.

Gavin - They definitely are. We are going to probably take out the ski jump triple next season. It is pretty dangerous to corner. We had one poor guy get knocked out cold during practice.

Helmets now mandatory in R/C Racing! All joking aside, hope he was okay.

Late race report.....Took 3rd in the 2wd open buggy B-main. Was hoping to bump up for the main but couldn't hold that 2nd spot. I gotta say that these Speedzone shorty packs are awesome. Their performance is up there with everyother high dollar pack but the price....OMG....you can get two of these for the price of one of the others. There's another club race tomorrow night so you best believe I'll be shooting to put these packs in the show.

I was just going to ask you how you liked the shorties. I think I may try one in my rb5.

They feel great. I like being able to play with shifting weight in my buggy with these packs compared to the standard packs. I have also been trying to only practice the same amount of time as race conditions but sometimes we have so much fun during practice that I found myself out there for almost 15-20 min. You won't be disappointed in the packs.
