looking at mine now, rotor is 12.3, it is a short stack, stator is insulated with green type epoxy (hysol?) which alot of latest motors are using to use less wire wind distance to achieve lower IR.

in our first VTA official race two of us got 3 and 4th, was into second but got spun out prior to finish.
So, the 25.5 motor you are talking on eBay is the same as pictured on eBay or the one on web site ? I think web site is a new version if pics are good...

we have this, not as cutout as link you have

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Speedzone-B...wAAOSw8lpZLEmX

i forgot also that when a fellow experienced VTA racer put it on his motor analyzer and it's sweet spot was also around 6 amps, RPM was 18600-ish, he said that was actually really good ( he runs reedy 25.5). my friend is one who got the above motor. mine was 12.3 rotor, his was 12.5. his brothers 12.5 too. but i believe he contacted above seller to arrange that. 12.3 or 12.5 didn't matter on asphalt track, we were near exact thru whole track, could do laps 2-3 feet apart, no drastic difference

To be ROAR legal you need 12.3mm rotor in 25.5 motors...

$48 is a great deal to get started in VTA for sure. However, the V3 version is the latest and greatest.

The Elite motor series was a great line. But we made the decision to retire that line and the Peerless motor line in order to avoid confusion and have one new motor that had the latest technology and design.

So we released our latest version. The 25.5 does come with the 12.3mm rotor and is built to the ROAR resistance specs.

What voltage are you using on your skyrc motor tester?

Mine is currently reading around 8v, but I usually charge it to 8.40v.

Not as yet. All the motors are with ROAR. I don't like to give a firm date and ROAR seems to have a back log but I should have confirmation within the next couple of weeks.

Little bad luck in the main with lap traffic but over all very happy with the packs!!. Placing a order next week for some Speedzone Motors to run 5.5,17.5 and 21.5 USGT.

Thank you RaceOptUSA/Bartollo Racing for the awesome car and support.
