I still regret making the change I made a few years back as Speedzone Batteries are still the best out there.
Gavin, you looking for any more off road drivers in the Northeast? I'd love to get back on board with you and start over.
+++1!!! I made the same mistake due to the same person/reason!! wow how I regret it. I still run a speedzone pack. Over a year old and still a great pack!!!! Gavin is a great guy and very trustworthy!!! Sometimes that time machine would be nice.lol

I hear you Tom! I hope everything works out for you. I ran for Gavin way back when he started to grow, he took great care of me back then with the most insane nickel batteries out there, back before the lipo revolution. Hey if you come across that time machine hook me up would ya?!?

Thumbs up Dave Johnson and Speedzone Claim Victory at Mid West Grand Slam RD3 !!!

Dave Johnson and Speedzone Win Again at Grand Slam RD3

The third round of the Midwest Grand Slam took place last weekend in Indianapolis, IN. Speedzone driver Dave Johnson was in attendance hoping to clinch the overall 12th scale 17.5 Title and pad his points lead in Touring 17.5. In Saturday qualifying Johnson set the TQ pace for 1/12 17.5 in round one. His Speedzone packs would power him to reset TQ in rounds 2, 3 and 4. Starting from the point, Johnson would lead wire to wire taking the A-Main victory in 1/12 17.5. This also clinched the 12th Scale 17.5 Midwest Grand Slam Title for Dave and Speedzone.

In touring 17.5, Johnson drove his Speedzone powered sedan to the TQ spot in round one. He would reset TQ in rounds 2 and 3 by 5 seconds over the field. Dave was confident going into the main and would run fast laps taking down the A-Main victory with a 10 second margin. After the main, Dave commented about his power saying "Speedzone Batteries were simply phenomenal! Untouchable power for the whole six minutes."

A great performance again from Johnson and his Speedzone powered machines!
Next stop is Detroit, MI for the final round of the Grand Slam.

Hi gavin,

I'm happy to inform you that my Speedzone powered S411LE took TQ honors and third place overall in the 17.5T class. The race was held last sunday in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. The race was the first event in the Puerto Rico Electric Touring Car Point Series. I am very happy with the performance of the battery and it truly made a difference in power output from the motor.

Thanks for your support.
