These numbers have been shared with me by mfr reps. I saw the 1650 number with TSR over 3 years ago. Never saw a number on the Reedy rotors till this picture that I commented to. Having said all of that, you can tell a lot about some of this just by handling the product. All my M3 motors have rotors that you can tell by feel that are not as strong as the competition.

I used to think that the weaker rotors were for single cell, but my perception changed when running the TSR 17.5 The One 1.0. And they also run the 12.5 diameter rotor when the Reedy reps were saying to run the 12.3 rotor in single cell. The reasoning was the smaller rotor would run more RPM, which I agree with, and the lighter car would not need so much torque to accelerate. Well, that didn't work so good.

Its a useless number to compare to one another unless your sitting next to each other and using the exact same meter on all rotors.

Feeling rotors in the motor from two different manufactures motors is a terrible way to try and see if one rotor "feels" stronger than another motors. The design of the stator has just as much affect on how it "Feels" in a motor when turning by hand as how strong the rotor is. Generally the more "clunk" a motor has the higher RPM the stator will produce due to its design.

Hi EA. That was my point but got off topic a little bit due to the questions. Merry Christmas.

Facts machine 2 reads lower than FM3 and the RMS

This is data I have collected over the last year.

R1 standard rotor 1500 to 1525
R1 "1750" 1670-1685
Motiv S-High 1580-1595
Motiv 12.3 1480-1495
TSR 4 line 1540-1565

Worst motor to work on....
only 1 way to re-assemble.

Stator, rotor, end bell fully assembled, stator sleeve and then front plate.

would be awesome if it was miraculously brca/roar approved before january 5th.. got to run the motor this week and its a nice improvement from the m3. similar to the motiv iv'e been running but this might make more rpm. At least during the bench test it made more at the same current with less timing.

i was hoping the tabs would be gone with the new motor but nope lol.

match your amp draw and re-test and see how they look... say 3amps each...no matter the timing...and post RPM also...even if its not under load

The Motiv and all motors I have done with ceramic bearings read 0.1-0.2 amp lower than with regular bearings.

I get them on the dyno soon.

Got to run my new S-Power 17.5 yesterday. Love the power band...strong and smooth. I ran it in my B6 indoor medium bite clay. 36degrees geared 69/30.

Thanks Reedy!

Anyone know what size the bearings are in the new S-Power?
