You can pull the foam off by letting them soak in acetone.

I haven't had any problems with the new (big wheel) stuff coming off because of glue. If you rerun the same set all day, it can get the tire really soft and the foam can tear up a little from the wheel. All that is needed is a little CA where the tire is pulling up and you're good to go. Check them after every run and they're fine.

If you rotate thru a few sets of tires it's usually not a problem at all.

Default carpet nats review

the parma stuff was awesome at the nats. toso tq'ed on the standard magentas, while chicky and mo denton put in good runs on the new prototype wheels. herrmann and i ran wraps all weekend and nabbed the 3rd and 4th spots in stock. all of us had magentas all around this time, despite the intense traction.

interestingly, the jaco drivers had 28mm wraps on their cars and were plenty fast, so i don't (nor did i ever) believe that narrow tires are the way to go on carpet. parma has no plans to release such an animal.

keep your eyes peeled for the new pro-53's (or whatever they are going to be labeled). these suckers are an engineering masterpiece. i'm not sure when this will be, though.

paul, thanks for the great (and constantly improving) products.

I ran the new rims the past weekend at the Canadian Challenge and they were simply amazing. Parma did a great job on these. No problems with them at all the whole weekend. Thanks Paul.
