Just picked up a set of Pro-53s last night, and they're now coming trued down to a smaller diameter! The latest run of 1/12 tires are the same way.

Now they're pretty much race-able right out of the box!

Of course, some of us hard-core racers will still true them some more or round off the edges to our liking...but this is a whole lot better than grinding off over half of the foam that was there.

Nice job guys!

Yeah my new ones came the same way...60 mm right out of the box (as opposed to the previous 64 mm). The finish of the foam was a lot better because I wasn't taking 6-7 mm of foam off right away.

Thumbs up

Would like to congratulate Chicky on his upcoming wedding this Sunday. I hope it's a great day, and that you have a good time next week in Hawaii.

This also means there may be pictures of Seaball in a tux. We can only hope.

Default Parma products most used at the IIC

I would like to congratulate and thank everyone who used Parma tires and bodies. In the TC foam tires classes Parma tires and bodies were the most used products in the A mains.

In the stock foam A main Parma Pro-53 tires took the win and top 6 qualifying spots. 8 out of 10 in the main ran the Pro-53's as well as all of them running Parma bodies.

In the 19t foam A main Parma Pro-53 tires were second and third and took 7 out of 10 spots. All the main racers also used Parma bodies.

Parma tires also took the top 2 spots in Mod foam qualifying as well as 1,2,4th place in the A main. Parma Pro-53 tires won the mod foam class and 6 out of the 10 racers used Parma bodies.

Congrats to Brad Johnson, Teemu Leino, and Chris Tosolini for their TQ's and/or wins!!

Paul

Chicky, thanks for all the help at vegas. The tires were awesome, and it was great racing with you too.

Parma tires are back on top, could of won all 3 if there wasnt a flapper coming onto the straight .

I saw ALOT of solid wheels this weekend, more than I ever have before at a big race.

Keep up the good work. Thanks again
