FM is alot less prone to glitching. It is a nice upgrade as far as radios go. Most of the RTR type cars do run AM radios and most racers and people who buy the radio and car separate buy FM radios.

Not saying using an AM is your problem but it could be along with some of the other stuff me and a few others posted.

Monster Mamba Max update?
Have all your suppliers stepped up to the plate? I am really looking forward to the release of this new product.

Maybe Joe will post soon. He has been very sick the last few weeks and is working on recovering as soon as he can. Lets hope things get back to normal for him and for a fast and speedy recovery.

At this point we are still waiting on stuff so that we can get it through production. We are as eager as you guys are for it to be out on the shelf.

Can someone please supply me with a little more info on the new replacement for the Mamba 25 the Sidewinder Micro since the website is not to forthcoming?

Sidewinder Micro offers a huge step up in power handling from the original Mamba-25.

- How much power will it handle? Huge in my book is at least a 50% increase and more than I can handle isn't really telling a lot.
- Is it in a hard case or same old heat shrink cover like the old one?
- When will it be in stock?

The Mamba 25 we had just prior to discontinuation is the same as the Sidewinder Micro. The MOSFETs have a lower on resistance than older Mamba 25's. You can tell the latest Mamba 25 (ie Sidewinder Micro) by looking at the positive battery wire. If it goes through the controller and attaches to the underside of the ESC you have the Sidewinder Micro. We are going to be changing the site to give more info.

The Mamba Micro Pro is a little smaller footprint, has a heatsink, and a case. We'll get more info up on the site just prior to release. If Brian wants to put a pic up he can.

Hey Guys, I just got a used MM and this is amazingly pretty

However, I cannot adjust my throttle endpoint, literally the first step after I turn on the ESC.

I have a RTR Tamiya transmitter, and I think this is the beginning of my problem. It has an analog dial to adjust the throttle, and there is an arrow indicating some neutral position which is in the middle of the way that it can dial . However, when I put it there and try to do as the instructions say, it does not recognize full throttle.

Interestingly enough, if I leave it on neutral and turn the dial all the way up, it registers as full throttle.

It is this controller.

So do I now have to pay more money to get a better radio? I blew my budget on this already...
