about the new sidewinder micro speedo, is the specs different in any way compared to a newly bought mamba25? (bought one last month)

or is it just the sticker that is different?

When will the 1/8 conversion mamba max and Nue motors come out?
I've been delaying my E8 conversion for this. I have read alot of good comments about the Castle mamba with Neu motors being used in 1/8 conversions and would not like to get the Novak one.
How much would it be?
Thanks

i your sick of waiting, i would suggest buying a Mamba Max ESC & a Neu motor, & when the MMM comes out you can always sell the MM & get the MMM esc only...

can somebody post pics of how you mounted and wired everything to your kit..

tips from manual were :

to shorten the wires.
avoid contact of antena to wirings.

i test run mine and i'm getting GLITCHY after few meters and some kind of a EPELEPTIC effect on throttle and steering.

If your radio is an AM version you are going to have more chances of glitching vs an FM based radio. Gltiching can be caused by numerous things so it is hard to know exactly where to start with you problem. Maybe a pic of your setup could help as then I can shoot you some ideas to try.

I only have my offroad setup that I can post for you. 1st pic is my X-6 with Mamba Max setup and the 2nd pic is my Academy GV2 with a Sidewinder Prototype (Had solder posts) but the new Sidewinder the wiers are soldered to the board. Not sure if they help you or not but will try it out.

i'll try to fully charge my batt (gp3700) to and see.

That is mostly excess antenna wire coming out the top of the antenna tube. I normally will then use heat shrink tubing over my antenna tube with the excess antenna being under the heat shrink.

Other things it could be in no certain order: Bad servo, bad crystal, wires to crossed up, use two pieces of servo tape under your receiver, bad battery (or low voltage), voltage dropping too low going to the receiver, antenna too close to other wires (normally not a problem with FM but can be more of a problem with AM).

Hello, my MM ESC suddenly stopped making the ringing noises when it starts up. When I throttle it, it completely cogs up. Anyone know if the lack of ringing noise means anything? Thanks in advance.

thisguy, that has started happening to me recently. I ended up unplugging the ESC from the RX, and it would start properly, then I plugged ESC into RX and was able to drive away. Also, switching battery fixed it, which is really weird b/c nothing was wrong with that battery.

OK I tried unplugging the esc from the rx. When I do so all 3 leds (red, yellow, and green) start flashing repeatedly. There is no ringing or anything. I turned off the esc and plugged it back into the rx and the same thing happens. Perhaps I missed something??

I am using a spektrum SR3000 receiver and dx3r transmitter.
