guess u didnt get all the bugs out, b/c this speedo is dead.

before 3.05 comes out i suggest u figure a way to have a 'force download' parameter in ur software to allow some1 a chance at reflashin to a base firmware, or even to allow v2.20 to see these later firmwares and allow users to fake out the speedo and place an earlier firmware on the speedo to at least have somethin to use if not update it on another revision of software or another racer's computer.

til then, i'm powerless to test car for big race in a couple wks time. castle, all i can say is get ready for the influx on controllers comin in for flashin after these 'series of updates/bug removals'.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FIRMWARE RIGHT NOW!!

we have a big race coming up in 3wks in addition to points races every wk and we cannot have most of our mod field (most b/c most use castle) down for a period of time b/c of this. thanks.

I put the new V on both my MMs and they still work. I'll get a chance to drive the MM w/ 13.5 this weekend.

What motor are you using? Let us know how well it works.

For those with the sidewinder how, can you post some close up picks of it mounted? I am curious how the whole wiring is done on the ESC as from the photos on tower hobbies you see these posts, but I am not sure what they are for.
It is designed for sensored and sensorless ESC. And yes it is the 13.5 equal, but according to Castle Creations, you can now run sensored motors without much cogging. It's coming tomorrow, so I will post pics in the afternoon when I'm off work and have a chance to put it in either my Evo III Surikarn, or one of my Mi2's. Which one do you guys think?

The firmware update is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! It runs my Neu 1512 2.5D with no cogging.
I am currently using the 1.16 beta version.

Now we need the MMM and motor combo!

Isn't it cool badassrevo!

Because of this, castle has roped me in. I am looking hard at what they are going to do in the future for a race legal motor series.

As for what to put the duo in, go with whatever you think would tax the motor / esc combo the most initially off the line.

See everyone just needs to hold tight like I have been saying. Castle is working extremely hard to catter to everyones racing and bashing needs. It is very hard to this.

You can see from the updates that things are moving along. I didn't even get to update my Mamba Maxs but I will tonight. No hurry since I'm messing around with the Sidewinder right now.

I think you guys are finding the newest software update is smoother than ever before. Not saying sensored motors will be perfect but with each update they are getting better. More good things to come in the near future so hang and be as patient as you can be.

replied. thought perhaps it was an issue to the 25s since my max took it no-sweat. i was this close to takin a friend's 25 and hookin them thru a y-cable in hopes that i'd get thru the 'load/boot' prompts and update firmware, and it'd update both (fix1, update1). but i passed..

castle will make it right. I have been pretty impressed with there customer service.

Now wyd, since you appear to be in the know, give me one nod for yes, two for no (Joe, DON'T LOOK!) that the Mamba Monster Max will be released by may this year.
