Can always run offroad at Bumps and Bruises during the winter and keep running your brushless setup. You could run a 6900 or 7700 since traction is so freaking off the charts you can practicing doing wheelies all the time.
Other than the Max being a little large it works great and at least in offroad cars they fit easily. In touring I creative wiring and they fit in most cars. Works well in my MI3.

Yes, Joe works for Castle. New version of tech and he has not updated his signature.
If he told you to cut off the connectors and direct solder then no it should not void your warranty.
As for the shaft breaking yes that should be under warranty as well.
Call Joe direct at 913-390-6939 Ext 119

It is my understanding that removing the plugs, shortening the wires and directly soldering the wires together does not void the warranty.
But removal of the wires from the esc circuit board itself and re-soldering of wires to it does void the warranty.
Please stay tuned for a official response from Joe Ford.

You CAN remove the gold connectors and solder the wires directly together WITHIN warranty. ANY soldering done on the controller itself VOIDS THE WARRANTY.

when its time to get those wires changed, do u have to send it in for new wire? eventually i'll need to, when who knows. but its an interestin question. hope no1 would get cute and leave the last 1cm of wire onto the board, then do all their other work via new wire soldered there.
just curious because...
...the receiver line is 'tired' (from being run under the battery channel and out on these 2wd buggies). i'd like to replace it, i'm adept at doin so (childs play compared to converting futaba G speedos to futaba Js that i did as a young man), but if it voids me out....eck thats a spot.
thx
