No i don't think so. You need to look at something with a higher capacity and a higher C rating. 12c @ 2000mah works out at like 24amp (i think, someone correct me if i'm wrong) which wont cut the mustard. Don't go off the "Burst" figures either because thats something more relative to aircraft (which i think those batteries are.. for aircraft.. that is lol)

I use Premium power 7.4v 2sp 4700mah 20C+ packs.. get about 15 to 18 mins on a 5700. http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info....ducts_id=11630

Plus Lipos are something u dont want to cheap out on trust me.

With it in brushed mode not really any setup to it. All stock curves for throttle and 100% brake. I run the high powered brushed mode.

Hi guys.

I run an XRAY T1FK05 with a MM 7700 on 7.78 (19/87 spur) and it's fast but the same car with a NOSRAM Matrix evolution 2007 and an LRP 4.5 on 8.22
(18/87 spur) it's pretty faster I don't know why.I tried to change the settings on the MM controler but it can't be fast as with the 4.5. I don't know if gearing up would be a solution because already with this gearing the 7700 doesn't accelerate as fast as the LRP.With the Nosram the car seems to accelerate better and having higher top speed and i don't know why this happens.Yesterday i tried the car with the Nosram esc and a REEDY NEO star 4 motor and even this one was faster than the 7700.What do you think about? I have to tell you that i run the same batteries (Lipo 2S) on a large oval area with a straight of 40 meters about, temperatures about 70-72 C in both cases, same transmitter but mamba is not fast as Nosram And im talking about the 4.5 motor not the 3.5. I would appreciate any suggestion or opinion about this.

The MM will use a higher gear ratio then an LRP setup, so try going up a few teeth.

OK but already with the MM the acceleration is not very good.Im affraid that gearing up by 1-2 T it'll be worst.

I have tried my MM geared too low and it fell over itself a bit as compared to when it was geared right.

Gearing up is not a problem (gearing down is ) so i can try on a higher gearing. But your opinion is that the 7700 could be fast as the LRP 4.5 ? If so ,i can try to fix it, otherwise i'll live with this.

MM 7700 up-geared from 19/87 (FDR 7.78) to 21/87 (FDR 7.04) is still slower on acceleration and top speed from the LPR 4.5 and the REEDY Neo star 4 geared 18/87 (FDR 8.22).What is going wrong here? Any advise pls?

Born, who said the MM770 was faster? The LRP has a higher kV and a more advanced design.

I just got a Mamba Max 6900 ..For my TC4. I tried racing it this past Sunday.. Am using a M11..

At the beginning of the race I mashed on the throttle and the car didnt go...Also during the race it stuttered and then went...I used the default profile with 30 brake and 30 drag brake... Motor timing was set on nomal.... Any thoughts on why this would happen.... Could the speedo be bad...
