Guys I'm having trouble programing my esc on my computer
I did all what drift demon says
When I did that it says control not pluged in?
Is that mean I have to connect my esc to my control first?

I hate to do this to you guys (Castle), but I'm am being forced to part ways with both of my Mamba Max systems after many tries.

I have a 4600 system and 5700 system and both setups exhibit the same behavior after switching to a banked tri-oval track. If you get spun or stopped in any way, the motor has no clue how to get you moving forward again until you come to a complete stop. If you give it power, it will just stutter until you bring it to a complete stop. This appears to be a major flaw in sensorless brushless systems because if you are rolling backwards, it has no clue how to change the direction of the rotor rotation. It's cost many races and actually caused a few wrecks because I can't get out of the way of oncoming traffic if I get spun...I just have to drift backwards to the bottom of the track and wait for it to stop on it's own.

On dirt this didn't seem be a problem all that often, but as soon as I switched to paved oval it's just bad. And unfortunately every driver who has tried to run the MM on the paved track has experienced this same issue.

I hope you guys can fix this in the future as you do make an exceptionally powerful setup, but without the control factor I just don't see taking over top brushless spot in the market.

Thanks and good luck.

Nope, I replaced one with all deans connectors and one is soldered direct. Both do it in 2 different oval chassis.

I've seen this hit the touring car guys too. The only place I have not had the problem was on off-road.

i am currently building a 1/10 electric truggy. im using the tamiya dark impact as a base chassi and am planning on lengthening it, using 7 cells, and using pro-line holeshot tires. i was wondering what the best motor would be for all aroudn good performance. i want either the 6900 or the 7700, but im nto sure if either will do very good with the setup. which motor would yall suggest i use?

I'd suggest the 6900 if you're using 7 cells.

would the 5700 be even better? or is the 6900 my best bet for a good combination of speed and acceleration?

I just think a 5700 would be plenty on an offroad car with 7 cells. I can't imagine needing anymore power than what a 5700 will produce for you. To me 6900 and 7700 motors are more for touring cars or cars that have imense traction and will really hookup.

From my offroad racing experiance if your overpowering the track and spinning your tires all the time your not going to run fast lap times.
