Castle Creations Mamba/MM/MMM FACTORY Q&A thread!

I've already tested it on 4 cells. Disable the BEC on the controller by lifting the tab on the receiver plug and pulling the red wire out (be sure to insulate it afterwards), then solder a receiver plug to the ESC side of your battery connection and use it as a jumper to power the receiver.

Any time frame yet on the software upgrade to run the Mamba Max with a sensored Novak brushless motor?
#20

Still working on it...we don't do estimated delivery dates...too many people got mad when the product/software/etc wasn't released on the estimated date. Sorry.

It was great talking with you the other morning??
I should have some answer for those questions in regards to pack voltage etc etc Monday for you. Do you need specific roll-out
When are you back in the office

so the mamba max isnt sensored. is it still driveable at low speeds or is it all race? and how would it do in a 2wd race truck?
#24

You wont have to worry about low speed, it is nice and smooth.

how much more power? how much more power does the 5700 have compared to its brushed equivalent.
#29

Well an equivilent brushed more would be equal....id say a 5700 is somewhere around 10 to 8 turn.

so it doesnt have anymore power? it just has no maintenance?
