I was looking at getting a GTB 5.5 setup for my ZX5 which I run on a large indoor track. A friend suggested I take a look at the Mamba Max setups.
I searched through the thread, but could not find an specifications regarding each Mamba Motor and what brushed turn it is equivalent to. I tyipcally run a 9 or 10 turn brushed setup.
Thanks,
Jimmy

If you between a 9 and 10 turn then you will want to go with either our 5700 or 6900 series.
I am currently running a 6900 in my XXX4-G+ and it has plenty of power.
I would say our 5700 is equal to the Novak 5.5 and that are 6900 is equal to their 4.5.
Hope this helps.

I've got a Mamba in an RC18 and when the battery bumps into the voltage cutoff (I think), the Mamba ESC quits responding. It just continues to run at about 50% power with no response to input. The BEC is still working providing power to the servo. I have to unplug the ESC to get it to work again. I can duplicate the issue over and over.
6 Cell NiMH and voltage cutoff at 4.2 V

When the speedo hits the cutoff voltage it cuts back power to the system to protect the battery. This is mainly for li-po.
I would set it for nut off for 6 cell nimh, should be fine and good to go.

Let me do some research and get back to you. Hopefully in a couple days, things are crazy around here.

Pics of my touring car setup with Mamba Max setup for brushed high power setup. I could of jumped the three wires going to the negative but I didn't do that just because if I go brushless I have all my wires ready to just solder to the motor. Lazy I guess.
