Hi all. Can someone recommend a fan for my MM ESC? Just got the 7700. Installed it in my Rustler. Burned out the stock 12T Titan twice and the stock ESC once. Don't wanna do the same with this. You all know it isn't cheap.

Also, I was thinking about getting a motor guard, but I'm concerned about trapping heat. That silly?

I had read something about putting a hole in the body as well to help release hot air. Anyone got any info on this? Pros, cons.

I'm running it with a 90T 48 P spur with a 19T pinion. Might get a 15T pinion today. I run it for about 15min or more for fun. no racing or anything, but it's very VERY hot around here. So heat is a MAJOR concern.

Hello everyone. I was about to run my savage flux today and I pluged the batteries in and the esc turned on but then it sounded like it poped and then it shut off and it wont turn back on. any ideas?

I went to run my sidewinder esc with a 5700 in my xxxt the other day and there was no throttle. I had to to the quick setup again. I had it already setup and raced why did it do this? Have you heard of this? It worked after i did the quick setup.

I have a 2200KV Castle motor "one that comes in the combo" and my front bearing has some side to side slop in it. What size is this bearing? I can easily repace it my self I just don't know the size and don't have a set of calipiars handy

Give us a call if you just got it. Definitely should be no side to side movement at all. We'll replace it for you at no cost.

Default my monster doesnt like me

i just got my monster esc back from castle after it fried, and once i got it back i reprogramed it, set it to 15.0volt cut off for a 5 cell lipo because thats what im using, and when i turned on my truck to use it, it worked fine until i gave it throtle, and it shut off and then when i turned it back on the three lights went on and it beeped once then the esc turned off instantly and now evry time i try to turn it on it does that same thing every time. i know its not over heated because i never really got to drive it and i checked the cut off to make sure i didnt program it wrong and it was still on 15.0volts so thats right. what could it be?

Our track is tossing around the idea of a superstock 13.5 4wh class this season. Does a cc4600 have any place in this class? I have never seen a 13.5or 4600 run so i have no idea how bad all the orange and blue babies are going to cry when i try this one!

Default throttle curve.

Can someone give me a basic lesson in throttle curve theory?
Have the MMM/2650 in an 8ight e buggy. got punch control set at 80% but i would still like to settle it down a touch more. I know i can tweak the radio but would just like to know how this function works

Anyone have a good curve they would like to share. I am more interested in smooth power than flat out speed.

I never liked that much throttle punch as I found when racing it made the throttle feel dead until I was almost at full throttle and then the car took off. The throttle just never felt smooth. I would run no more than 20% punch control and then use around 20% negative expo on your radio. Negative expo is just like using the throttle curve on the Castle Link. You can curve the throttle to be very dead down low and at increase the power alot more as you get to full throttle. Just mess around with it some til it feels good to you.

So which way is smoother/ more agressive? do you just plot a point in the center and pull from there?

If you are looking at the Castle Link you would have the curve line bending down will mellow it out in the middle. If you would run the curve with the bend going upward in the middle it will have more punch in the middle.

Wherever you have the lowest bend in the curve you will have the least amount of punch in that area and wherever you have the highest part of your curve the most punch you will have in that area.

Has anyone run the trinity/Epic Duo motors on the mamba max? It says the motor works with sensored and sensorless speed controls, but I haven't seen anyone run one a mamba.

Got my Mamba Monster ESC back from repair today. Had a bad BEC and they added a new engineering change to it that is supossed to stop the fireballs. Didn't work, made it about 5 feet before my Erevo caught fire, thankfully no body as I was testing it.

But now issues, Castle is sending me a new one. Gotta love good service.
