I was spun on the front stretch and the marshalls must have fell asleep and by the time they woke up it was pretty much useless to run so I figured I would save my car for next week as I think I finally got my GV2 dialed in. The setup is the best I have had in a long time with the car but if it stays like it is now I'm going to very happy.

Yes 2wd mod is tough at Bumps thats for sure. It takes a few weeks of busting but and you will get it figured out more. Driving smoothly is very difficult at Bumps but it does get better the more you run.

At least you didn't drive to the shop and then find out it was closed.

precisely. just need to clip the throttle curve just a tick (that or work with some more expo) and ponder the gear b/c i'm not usin much throttle per lap at all. i'm 22/82 right now.

You could leave your settings on the speedo and then turn down your EPA from 100% down to like 80% and try it out and see if this helps. Might be better than a curve as turning the EPA back won't change your throttle as it will still be linear. We can mess around Sunday with a few different things to see what feels best for you. Maybe a combination of a few things will be better for you but will have to try things to see.

I have a question
I received my CM36-9000 and the resistance is the same as my 3 year old CM36-S7700,
Is it possible I received the wrong motor ???

I expected to see a lower resistance on the 9000kv then on my 7700kv motor.
I have checked many BL motors and have the right equipment.
Thank you
Russ

Right now my Sidewinder/4600 setup is excellent and I didn't think it could get any better but I messed around more and it just keeps getting better. I have made a few changes and I don'tknow if I can make it feel any smoother. After all this time with my Castle stuff and after tonight I just can't believe how good my stuff is running.

bri, right now i have 40% DB, 50% brake (more out in radio as well), 70% PC, Normal Timing, DB left alone. dropped 1T to 21/82.

i'll explain the throttle curve in the sense that it looks like i went in 1 hole on the shock tower, where the shock is my linear curve. so i'm chopping the top, i finish that off with pulling back 5% on the T-EPA. not 1 case of bad manners last wk, however in 3rd rd, i had a couple burps, whether cogs or hits (spek?), idk. seemed strange. had ideas of hardwiring the unit together and removing the bullets again, but didnt get around to it. dont recall observing it in the main.

i really like that idea of using the diff and case from the desert truck and thus not worrying bout the diff under high loads again. shame u guys with the acad cant do that, josh couldve used it big time.

got the defective chassis and the compromised bulkhead changed out tuesday. dont think i'll be up this sunday. work to be done and i already lobbied to go up for triple As at frederick on saturday.

I've got a question regarding the MMM/2200kV motor combo. I plan on putting this in my converted Losi 8ight. It says "Intended for 6S (25.2 Volt) operation". Is this the optimum voltage for the system? How would it perform with 5S or 4S? I've heard mostly good things from those that have run 4 and 5S but wondered what Castle's take on it is.

Edit: Crap, I just realized this is an On-Road fourm. I aplogize. I'll try looking for a Castle thread in the off-road forum.
