Default Mamba Max

I was wondering if I can use a Mamba Max 5700/7700 with 4 cells? I used it with 6 cells in my RC10L2 but they changed our class rules to 4 cells for this year.

Thanks!

esc is legal, motors are not.

the 17.5 motors is the stock equiv., however as wyd said you wil lhave trouble with start up (off the line)

sorry if this was asked before but is 150 to 160 deg F a safe temp range for my mamba max? i ran several 7 minute offroad sessions with my durga. my orion vortex 4.5 was also in the 150-160 deg F range. should i use a cooling fan on both the esc & motor? the buggy ran fine, but i really dont know what temp range i should be looking at. thanks in advance for any info

Anything less than 200 degrees is ok. If you have room for a fan on the speedo I would use one as it never helps to run cooler if you can.

big up to gee for doin the micro mod to my sidewinder (25) speedo. much smaller footprint that makes life on an Exotek R3 possible.

R

PS-Joe, mamba max is en route with a new rx connector to be put on the unit. hoping to get the bullets replaced since we all removed them to deal with the 7700. thx.

You will experince trouble off the line with sensored motors. Not really reccomended until the new ESC comes out, unless you have a freind to roll you at the start, and then you don't do anything during the run that will make you stop

Pretty much any motors availabe (not sure abt the new novak ones) will work with the 1/18th ESC's.

The Tekin Sensorless motors will work with the Mamba but not the Tekin Redline series as they are for sensored type speedos.

Default Can't reach the USB!

Anyone come up with a way to fit the Mamba Max in a B4 with enough room so that you can still get a USB cord to plug in?
