Tom

im the guy that WYD is talking about, ive been running the sensor on carpet every sat for the last 4months. 3 of those were with the large V1 receiver and the last was with the smaller V2 receiver. i have yet to have a glitch of any kind. im also breaking just about every rule in the book for my radio too. the antenna wire is run through unused holes in my CF chassis to hold it in place and it doesnt exit the body of the car either. no matter what i do the radio tells me that i have at least half signal strength from the receiver at all times.

Oh I do believe you. I did have a guy PM me a few weeks back about him having problems only on carpet and mainly in 1/12th scale. I think carpet play havoc on stuff sometimes. I remember a few speedos that companies had out that hated carpet. I know I ran one of the brands.

I think for the most part the radio is bulletproof and their technology is pretty sound especially vs companies that have made radios for over 20 years. FOr being 20 years behind they are doing things that other companies had a chance to do and have not.

On Carpet run a 10v cap and an extra cell to the RX and have the antenna up right on the car away from any other part of the car on all 2.4Ghz systems FASST, SPEK and Nomadio

To the best of my knowledge the Nomadio system runs off of Windows software. If your make runs Windows from Microsoft and is PC compatable then you will be ok. If it runs the Apple based software it won't work.

If I'm wrong I'm sure Karlton from Nomadio will reply.

The Nomadio React comes with a 800mA NiMh pack people have asked for larger capacity. Here is a link to a company selling 2500mA packs for the React http://www.superbatterypacks.com/256...adiotxbecf.asp

UE has the React TX only on sale for a silly low price if you have spek receivers and want to upgrade your radio his sale price can not last long.

007 TEAM NOMADIO please let Scott Ackerman [email protected] know what races you will be going to in March and April. We also need your shirt size and your shipping address. For those who did not apply for team 007 it is too late next open to apply is in November for the 008 team.

If you have an event you want Nomadio to sponsor send all the data to [email protected] ASAP. If we have enough team members going we may just sponsor it. NO promises.
