I have to agree. the J man did a ggggreat job this weekend. I could not have asked anything more out of my motors. they had plenty of power, I just could not put it on the podium.

good luck this weekend dude. and we will see you next weekend in the big D.

Default Need some help

Hello everyone, I learned about Lightspeed at the HobbyTown track in San Antonio so I figured I start here with my questions.

I just picked up and RC12L4 and want to start racing on Saturdays at Hobby Town in San Antonio. A friend is also in the process of getting an L4 to race on Saturdays.

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to racing, I've had RC cars off and on over the years (my first car was a vintage AE RC10 buggy, which I still own) but this will be my first attempt at offcially racing. I currently own two 1/10 onroad nitro cars but want to get away from nitro and go with electric. I understand that the best thing for racing is track time and I plan on doing that. I have no fantasy about strapping the fastest setup in my car and winning.

I'm not looking for the fastest or most expensive setup for my car, I just want something that will get me going and allow me to develop driving skills then maybe later I can get something more aggressive.

So with that said I need a little advice on motor, esc, batteries etc.....

Any help would be great.
