Went to the Illinois offroad state race at Action Hobby. Top qualified both stock truck and buggy and finished second in both mains using voodoo cells throughout the races. Thanks for the great packs.

Hi Dave,
I represent Voodoo Batteries at the GP World Carpet Cup in PrÚverenges in Switzerland. I have some problem with drivers on my qualifying rounds and I finished 53th after being qualified 49th.

A friend named Lucas Urbain (http://worldcup.rcworld.ch/live_saturday.asp?id=4) who was running in the top 32 class use one of my pack for one of his main and he has been very impressed by the incredible power. He runs this main with Martin Hudy and Andy Moore and they don't have more power than him so he could do a great main with them.

So thank you team Voodoo, i'm loving these batteries!!!!

Dr Voodoo,

On your website --> Tips #8, you mention;
"We are working on a device that will discharge and maintain a user settable voltage soon!"

Any news on that?

I am interested to know, Dr VooDoo, how do you recomend to charge and discharge the batteries for 5min mod racing for optimum performance but also good life from the batteries?

I currently do this:
-Charge at 5A @ 35mV (about 5.8mV per cell)
-Peak at 6A @ 35mV
-Race...
-After the race stick it on my Trinity DPD and linear discharge at 5A to .9v (do you think 5A linear is best or 30A pulse, or doesn't really matter)
-Store at .9v for one week untill I race again and repeat the above process.

What would you change?

GOOD QUESTION AFTER I RUN I JUST PUT THE PACK IN THE BOX UNTILL NEXT WEEK then when i get to the track i discharge as a pack to 1.0 per cell at 20 to 25 amps then equalize to .90 then keep them warm on a heating pad untill first qualifier hope this helps!

charge i charge at 6 or 7 7 seams to give me a little extra kick!

Dave - thanks for the voltage all weekend at the eXpress race.

Unfortunately, it was not my weekend. I was unable to get a clean run in stock, but did manage to make the B in 19T, finishing 6th.
