Default Speedzone Batteries & Motors

Although we have a company thread in the Company/Manufacturer Forums section here on RCTECH, I wanted to start this thread for general questions on our products and batteries. I have received many PMs from people who did not know we had a space on RCTECH so this additional thread should assist everyone.

Team Drivers will be sporting the E-Power 4500 cells this coming season. If you see them in person and have questions, please feel free to ask away! Or just post you question here.

Keeping this thread alive as we will have some new products in the coming months and wanted to make sure everyone can reach us for support or questions. Thanks.

do these batteries need any break-in cycles? or have they already been broken-in? how should i break them in if i need to?

is the consensus on lipo batteries now to store them at 60% and use/cycle them atleast once a month?

No break-in necessary. Just read the instructions, treat them right and you will be fine!

i cycled one of the packs 3 times at 1C charge and discharge and it only did about 4600 mah. is that ok? if i cycle it more will that come up?
this was on a team checkpoint 1030 charger with a 3.1v cutoff.

Nothing special that needs to be done. Just apply your standard diff grease and work in the diff as normal. It should be silky smooth. My preference for diff grease has always been the white AE Stealth Lube.

LOL...no need to cycle the packs. Not sure about the CP1030; cycled on a GFX, mah will be 5100mah+; 500+ on runtime with 35amp discharge. Just put it in the car and run it...that is the main test!
