Yeah I checked it this morning and we are at the same price by my house in Orange as well!

I heard wheat prices are going through the roof right now since all the farmers are planting Corn for ethenol! This all sucks! Might need to find a second job for gas and cereal soon!

Guys, it sucks about the gas prices. It is always higher out your way than here in OK. What is real bad for us here is that we have to drive 2 hours just to get to a track. Talk about making racing expensive. I'll spend 80 bucks in gas just to get to the track, that doesn't include food, and parts after I get there.

Glad to hear that the Banzai crew did well. Maybe we can make it out your way in the near future for some racing.

We were going almost every weekend to Enid, but it cost way too much. I bought a house last Sept here in OKC, and all so the budget just is not what it used to be. So, I am going to try to spread my racing around to a few different tracks but will have to race less. Arkansas has an electric series but most of the tracks are 5 hours away. The final is going to be in Ft Smith in Sept, so I hope to make that one.

Hes at 6 wks now, and its hard getting him to go more than a few hrs or even an hr at a time. The g/f is having trouble just getting him to nap for a reasonable time. I HOPE it gets better.

We're convinced its cause hes so cute We're being punished by him NOT sleeping. Other people have not so attractive babies who sleep all the time. (Thats not a slight against you, we've seen some UGLY babies lately, and they all sleep a lot).

It can't get any worse.

CACTUS UPDATE!!!!!

I just got an email from Alex Alvarez's dad, Alex was running

Banzai at the Cactus and finished:

5th A Main Stock buggy with a Banzai stock motor!
There was another tie, and he lost out in the tie-breaker too!

6th B Main Stock Truck with a Banzai stock motor!

GREAT JOB, Alex, and I think this was his 1st Cactus!!!

Jeff Roe of Pro Match also qualified 10th in the Old Dudes,

on the first day of qualifying and it held up! Sorry to say,

Jeff had to leave after day 1, the wind gave him a MAJOR case

of allergies!

David, waiting for your report on the Nats???? You said I don't

watch on-road, but I did, and Billy will vouch for that!!

From what I know, on the warm-up lap for your B Main start,

you got "broke" !! And didn't get to run???
