Thanks.
it's been awhile since i've ran 1/12th but i would check with the guys your racing with for a start point on gearing being 1/12th runs 8 minute mains 12 degrees would be a good starting point for your timing (or one tab as a lot of pan car guys say) remember that you want to set up for the most consistant power from start to finish if you pull to much gear you may dump the batteries or obverheat the motor before the end of the run for your brushes i would actually run the infinity brushes versus the 4-cell brushes (don't remember the name)
hope this helps some travis
just checked ae's site and according to ae's recomendations for the 12l4 a 9 turn would start at about a 4.5 ratio at the spur gear

and i wish i was off racing i've been out working lots of long hours

THANK YOU TRAVIS!!!! I've got lots of my boys working long

hours lately! I appreciate the help!

I only have one result:

Casper won the B-Main in Open Mod, Chris Puller was 3rd. Good job

guys.

The cell phone reception is absolutely horrible. Scott called and was

going to give me the results, but I was not able to hear. Just told

him to get home and I'll get them then.

B. James, not a rookie any more, but you have a ways to go

to catch me!!!

Great job guys!! I know there are also B Main finishes, but Scott

didn't get them all. He's lost without me there!!

So please post guys! It's been a long month with the Reedy and end

of the JBRL series, and we appreciate all who were able to make this

race. Thank you all!

Special thanks to Team Durango/Banzai from Germany, Ebi, Gerd and Fritz.

Also, to Cool Chris Puller for coming from Kansas!! Thanks for your

special efforts and traveling from so far away!!

To all our customers, thank you all and feel free to post your finishes,

you're all the best!!

Just wanted to say thanks to Banzai and Slingshot for providing me the outstanding power to get my best finishes ever at the Reedy. At this rate I should be a threat to win next year!

It was a fun race. AS all these multi-day races go it was a long main day with the triple "A"s but we got it done. There were some driver errors that kept me from a better finish in 19T but boy was that motor fast! The classes were just too competative to make the small mistakes. The motors and batteries ran strong all weekend long though. Thanks again to all those that help support me this year. We got one more race left with the So Cal supercross and then we are off to next year. I can hardly wait!

Looks like everybody had a great time! It was nice meeting Ebi and the rest of the German drivers.
I don't think I'll have the pictures up for a couple of days, but here's one for now.

I think he approves

My dad John got 9th overall for 40+ Master's Stock.

I had less than impressive finishes in both 19t and Stock, as I broke in both. I broke alot as a matter-o-fact.

Joey would like to thank Ebi and the Durango Team for the 10+ sets of tires they gave him along with the brand new motor. That was really nice.

We lost a friend last week, and R/C racing lost a great

supporter. James Shandley died at age 41, of what I hear

was a stroke. Most of you will know him as James, from

JS Bodies, in Texas, he loved to paint R/C bodies. He had

just painted bodies for Greg Etter for the Vegas race.

Happy Trails James, you will be missed!

He posted on page 23 here on our forum. Maybe that's

where you saw his name. We mostly emailed. Way to young!
