Casper, Scott says he's gonna run "Old Dude", just doesn't know

if he'll kick butt or not!! Should be enough, Ebi

is going to run it too and a couple others.

I am getting orders ready for the JBRL and the Reedy Truck,

so, if team guys or customers need anything, give me a call or

email. I have everything in stock!

Casper, I know the JBRL race is first, but I have people

questioning about the batteries and hand-out for the Reedy. I think

you asked Jimmy about both of these questions.

Will you post the batteries that are legal for the race, explain the

Roar rule NOT in force yet. Also, there is no hand-out motor

on the form. YEAH! I believe it is bring-your-own motor, correct?

Thanks,

Judi

Batteries will be ROAR approved cells only. This means 3800mah or lower for all classes. 4200mah batteries (IB4200SHV, IB4200WC, EP4200, GP4300) will not be legal to use per ROAR rules until Jan 1st and this is what Jimmy is going by. If you can find the newer batches of IB3600 they have super low IR and great runtime and are the cell to have IMO. IB3800's are hard to find as they stopped importing them from what I understand.

For motors. There is no handout motor mention on the flier and the stock class is the same price as the rest of them which implies it is bring your own motor for the open stock class. I am working on getting confirmation on this but Jimmy is on Vac. I will post here when I get an answer from Jimmy.

Hope this helps!

Ps Good race Jonny.

I just called Tim at Hot Rod and there WILL be a handout. He believes it will be the MVP.

Reedy still makes the MVP????? Last year Jimmy said he had a hard time getting the motors in. Reedy had to buy back stock or something like that to fill the order to support the race. The handout for the shootout was the Core. I would say that is a better bet then the MVP. I would wait to hear from Jimmy on this.
