Scott, Judi,
Just wanted to report on Alex's 10.5 system in his 4wd buggy. Casper, usual, had provided pretty good info on set-up and adjustments. Alex installed the 10.5 and controller Friday afternoon, made even before the postman left, we went over to OC/RC, and 1st time out Alex found his 1st true love. The motor and controller ran at about 140 degrees and his lap times were pretty good. finished 1nd to Jeff Nicol by 3.9 seconds and ran 24 laps in a 7 minute main. Thanks to Mom and Scott for getting everything out in such a timely manner and special props to Casper. His help enabled Alex to from box to the track without any problems. we may be adding SS 4WD to our Nat's schedule.
We are gong out to OC/RC and run our stock and 19T motors today and as usual, the Banzai brushed are the best.

I had to change it up a bit with the black on the backend. I have ran the yellow and white flames with red back since 98, but alot of people have those colors now.

Bob, glad to see you made it back safely, I bet I could sell you a lifesaver cushion to sit on.

Billy, the new body looks awesome!! I really like the colors and

I agree with Scott, always like to see flames! Blazing fast!!

B.James, glad to see you made it home ok. What a trip, and

$350.00 in gas? Is that tax deductible??????

PitDad, did Alex sign up for 4wd at the Nats?? He seems to be

doing really good with it, I watch on LIVER/C.

AE: How did you do at Rod's last night?? Be seeing you and

Wayne real soon!

Ryan and I are gonig to OCRC tonight to get some practice in. Ryan will be putting in the 10.5 in his 2wd so we are now all brushless. (I will have to switch back for JBRL)

Testing with the 17.5 and the turbo joe adapter are going well. Can't wait to get some competative runs in with the new motor!

Mom, Just got off the phone with Jimmy and he said there will be no problem adding Alex to the SuperStock 4wd class. He really likes the car and the performance he gets from the 10.5 BL. I am sure we will have fun next week.

I did ight...

qualified second...and lead the whole main and had a good 5 seconds on Brent(second) till thirty seconds to go and got in the big pile up and he passed me to take the win...but a bunch of people were watching and said that it was my race if they had been calling traffic, even Keith from Slingshot! He really was a lot of support and help me boost my confidence going in to the nats.

BUT BRENT CAN WHEEL A 2WD buggy...me and him a had a good 2 lap battle for a little bit like me and him were side by side through every corner in one of the heats till I cracked under pressure and crashed hahaha, but i was laying it down in the main.

Kyosho is 2.6 for the RB5. I believe the XXXCR is using the 2.43 tranny.

I ended up at 65/33 last night. Car ran well. Got in a 18sec lap at OCRC but was in the 19's consistant. The setup on my car is not right so it was a little hard to push the car but I seemed to have plenty of motor (compared to brushed).

Hoping to convince the wife I need to go to Pegasus sat to do some more testing!
