We had such a great time this week-end! We got to visit
with old friends Fran, of Frantastik Batteries and Larry
Ruby, of Ruby Motors. We only get to see them once a year,
so we had a lot of catching up to do! Thank you both for
your friendship and support ! Hope to see you guys
at an Off-Road race in the near future!
The weather was about as perfect as it could be! Even got
a little chilly at night, enough for a sweater!
We were missing a few Team guys, Casper and Ryan, working
on Casper's new house. And Jeremy Felles was conducting
the HB's on-road race. We missed you guys and everyone
asked about all of you.
Special thanks to Chuck for taking the easy-up back and forth
for us. Phil Alvarez for breakfast in the morning and the
great conversation and laughs! Thanks to the Camarillo
crew for all your hard work, it made the week-end a joy!
To the team guys, YOU GUYS ROCK!! And as always, our
great and loyal customers! Thank you!
We have 2 new "official" additions to Team Banzai. My favorite
brothers Darin and Brian Halverson and the youngens'!!!
These 2 have been awesome customers for years, and well
deserving of a spot on the team! Thank you for the years of
support as customers, and we know you'll be great team drivers.
They will be club racing at the new OC track. They were the
first to begin testing the new 17.5 BL motors and our speed
controls! So drop by and chat with them. Welcome!
That's all the news I can think of at the moment, I'll get the
results in order and post in a minute.
Yes, Mr. Banzai choked in the B-Main! He led the whole
race I think, and with about 30 seconds to go, decided to
have a "senior moment", just enough to crash and lose the
win and bump-up. It was a heart-breaker! BUT, I love
you anyways and we'll get 'em next time!

Awesome results guys. Sorry I could not make it out there. Just ended up being too much to do. Had to get my daily dose of 120VAC on Sunday chaning out switches and outlets. Not sure what hurt worse. The electric shock or stabbing myself with the screw driver pully my hand way!
New homes are owe so much fun. I wish I could have been out there though.
Still have a ton of work to do but will manage in some practice for Nats somehow and be ready to go. This should be the only race I have to miss this year so it was what it was.
Glad to hear you all had a good time and brought home some great results to boot!
Welcome to the new additions to the team as well!

Just wanted to say "thanks" to Scott and Judi for all the support they provided, It was a great weekend, the weather was perfect and the Banzai Nation was rolling along. Casper, Ryan, Jeremy and Fez were all missed, however it did give Judi and I a good chance to joke and laugh at those not in attendance, maybe it was just me and Judi was laughing. Fez, my apologies, if any of the stories get out and unfortuneately the swap meet went kinda unannounced and did not provide the buying buzz among the JBRL faithful.
Welcome aboard to the Halverson gang, they had such a good time, the stayed Sunday night, who knows they might still be there.

Yeah, Ten, too bad that track is so far away, that dirt oval stuff is fun
Maybe the Halversons are stuck at one of those truck stops

This has now turned into the biggest mystery in RC!
HALVERSONS WHERE ARE YOU?
Their mom just told me I was to keep them in line!!
And I've LOST them in less than 24 hours!

Ok, ok, just got home, and yes, we spent the night again, after watching the dirt oval fun. We had a great time this weekend, hangin with everyone and watching alot a great racing... Yes Ten, I went on Thrusday night, let my kids play on the track all day Friday. In fact, my 6 year old wanted to race. Won the C main and was 7th in the B. Not bad for only his 2nd JBRL race ever....
Like Mom said, Brian and I, are at the new OC track alot, running the 17.5 and will soon be playing with the 13.5. So, if anyone has and questions about gearing, lets us know
See everyone soon....
P.S. I warned you guys the WHOLE Clan was coming
