Sorry for the slow responce, we had a little down time The 17.5 motors that Mel Hara and the Halversons have been running, were all set up with the default settings already programed in the speed control. The only thing we changed was the thermal cutoff. We turned it off. Check with Mel at the track to see if he has changed any of the settings. He was one of the first ones to figure out the gearing too.

We are been playing with the "DRRS" start mode and the "AMTS" timing. We are still fine tuning for what works best with our local track. At times the track is a little dry, and other times it wet, we are trying to find a happy medium. I am going on vacation starting Monday, will be at the track in a couple weeks, and hopefully get things where we want them....

The track would need some help with syrup or such to groove up. IF left dry it will break up similar to Metro. Not quite as bad but will not hold together. Ask anyone that went last year. The hose broke and we were forced to run it dry. It was not aweful but not awesome either. IMO the track is way better wet but thats just me. I am still working on getting to round 5. Might have to miss it due to the house move!

Mom, I am with you. I can't see Casper missing Camarillo just because he has a house closing, getting stuff settled and getting everybody situated. It feels like a cop-out to me. We took all last week off from R/C stuff, I got some much needed golf in and we played in Lake Mohave. Miss the Banzai gang, come on Camarillo...See you there Casper

It's quiet in here!!!! I think we're all a little burned out from

the Shoot-Out and now the heat is back again!

The JBRL at Camarillo is coming up fast! REMEMBER,

Jimmy said we are having a Swap and Sell, so get that

stuff out that you don't need any more! Make

sure you spread the word and post it on the forums too!

Gosh, I don't race, guess I'll have to find some motor

stuff to sell????

Late breaking news Scott--

Jimmy will be offering a 40+ super stock truck class at the nats. He talked with Dawn about it and found up it was up to him if he wanted to hold this class. If less then 20 people sign up there will only be a single "A" main though. Since this is not a class listed on the official sign up sheet you can sign up for this class at the event. The "late" fee will be waived for this class only!

Spread the word to your old friends!
