Mom, I wont be able to go to round 4. I dont have enough money to make it to this round. I will be at the shootout though for sure and round 5.

Alex, I think that decision is up to Jimmy, wet or dry. Probably

won't know until we get there!

AE, Scott says not really sure on tires either, if you have

bow ties and step pins, bring 'em!

For those that have asked about the new Trinity Stock motor.

I checked again on the Roar web-site, the new Trinity Mystery

motor is still NOT legal. If it's legal for the Nats, we'll re-evaluate

then.

My understanding is they were submitted, but still NOT

on the list.

According to the email we received, Jim Dieter, designer of the

motor said, "it has substantially more torque". So, there's the

latest. We won't get them until they are legal.

Jimmy does not require ROAR apporved motors. His stock motor rule is it must be 24 deg fixed timing machine wound 27T.

Casper,

Where did you settle at for a FDR for the 10.5 in 4 wheel? I see the back of the package suggests a 5.5 - 6.5 range!

Thanks....Greg

Good luck this weekend!!!!

Fixed it, Casper. We still prefer to run Roar legal motors,

then there's no questions. We never carried the stock

motors with bearings either, just for that very reason.

I am not going to the opening of the new track tomorrow,

Scott will be there. So, if you need something, email

me. Got most things ready to go for Sunday!

I agree with sticking with ROAR legal motors and most motors that meet Jimmy's rules are ROAR legal.

Greg-- I am usually somewhere between 7 and 8 FDR. 7.5 seems to be a sweet spot for temps. If it is cool I run 7.2 but when it gets hotter out I have to go down a tooth to keep motor temps from getting out of hand.

I was going to dallas this weekend but its gonna have to wait. I had a shock go bad on the crewcab so I had to order up some new shocks. I sure wish hb made a shock big enough for a fullsize car lol.
