Tech Master.... LOL!!! Well, it says 15 and some odd THOUSAND posts.. which means I say way too much on this forum

Arizona racing: well... same old, same old.. SRS has their three times weekly off road club racing. Hobby Action in Tempe has a new indoor offroad track that I hear is small but dialed and their same outdoor off road fuel track. They run the monster trucks and 8th scales out there. There is a group of guys running a very successful off road fuel series out here that is going to be starting up soon and down in Tucson, all I know of is Competition Hobbies with their super dialed indoor off road facility.

How is the Banzai family??

Charlie, they haven't found your car yet?? Get those phone calls traced!

Dawn, thanks for the update. When we visit our son in Arizona, I hope to make it to some of the tracks. NEVER been to any of them. Maybe the Cactus next year for me too?? All of the Banzai family is doing great.

JBRL is this week-end for off-road. Number 2 in the series at Racer's Haven in Bakersfield. Good luck to all of the guys!! Not sure how many will be coming from this area, gas prices are at least $3.09 a gallon.

Eddie, NFL draft this week-end!! Who you pickin'???

Judi - Well since I am a Colts fan and we let our best running back Edgerrin James go. I hope we pick Joseph Addi from LSU. We have to 30th overall pick and I'm pretty sure he will still be there. He is about the same size as James was and a little quicker. He is a GREAT receiver out of the back like Edge was and we FOR SURE need that with the offense they run.

p.s. - Gas prices here in Pensaocla Florida are around $3.20 right now and rising.

Yes the Banzai blue is a tuned CO27 teardown.

I was geared at 17/86 for that track. I went up to 18/86 when I was at So Cal which is a little more open and a longer main straight.

Another thing....

I'm running IB 3600 packs.

I've read that the CO27 was built for 3800 +.

Are those 36s gonna cause me any problems with a Blue or will the motor just run a bit cooler because of the lower voltage / amps?

From what I have heard the amp draw on this stock motor is pretty high. I have not measured my battery capacity after I have run but I do know I have tons of runtime left with my 3800's. Your 3600's will be just fine. I think they may be decrasing efficiency of the motor to produce power. (Not sure how) That is my guess though. Your IB3600's work great with this new motor. No problems at all! I have run 6 min with 3300's with no issues and extra runtime. I think this may be more of issue in onroad where you tend to pull more amps due to 4wd and really high traction.

Judi - Yeah we need to. The ONLY reason I am a Colts fan is that I went to the University of Tennessee and Peyton Manning was there when I was so I followed him. But my favourite player in the NFL is Edgerrin James. So now I have like 12 Colt's jerseys and 2 Cardinal's jerseys.

Dude, Banzai is so dialed that even if I were to quit racing R/C, I'd still use their motors in my full size cars for the auto windows/wipers/washer fluid. They can do it all.

Vanair, good to know you are going! Have a good time and a good run!

Casper will be there, Ryan and Bob James, Chuck Fowler. That's all that checked in with us that I know for sure.

We'll be at the next 2 JBRL races.

Have a safe trip and let us know how things go.

Almost forgot, do you have everything you need?? If not, call me, we'll be here tomorrow.
