Just enough rain to make everything messy!

I didn't see anything on the news about rain, but

what do they know!!

Guess we better keep an eye on the Pegasus thread.

Just got back from the ACT EP state titles here in Australia. I finished 6th in 4wd Stock and 2nd in 2wd Stock. Thanks for the motors, they had heaps power all around the track.

The mains got rained out last night We got both rounds of quals in but the mist got to be too much and we had to call it. I ran some seriously fast times in the mud in the last 4wd qualifier. I ran a 14 5:01 I need to see how that stacks up with past TQ's!

I will take mist over tornados any day!

It was wierd. When we left the track Sat night once we got about 4 miles from the track it was perfectly dry. It was like there was a cloud hovering over the track all afternoon!

I think im gonna continue my rc break. Its nice to clear my head. I think the return will be some 2wd buggy class at the state race in dallas the end of march.

Whats fun is seeing big storms rolling in and you have the rearend out from under your truck, and outside lol..

Doom, Good job! Glad to see my Aussies off to a good
start in the new year! Haven't gotten a report from
Puddle yet, but I'm sure he's worn out after 3 days of racing!

Casper, looks like you're almost in form for the Cactus!
Sorry we didn't stay and race, but 4 hrs. of rain and cold was
about all we could take! It would have been better
if we had brought the easy-up, but we didn't, so we'll look
forward to next week!

Tornados?? My grandparents house got blown away and most
of our town in Ohio from one of those. Wind is my least
favorite thing! Hate the Santa Anas when they blow!

Yeah all the drizzle was quite annoying. The first round of quals were awesome as the track was nice and moist and the drizzle stopped but about the start of round two it came back can got harder and harder until the track was a little too wet and it was not safe to be out on the track anymore. I am feeling pretty good about cactus right now. We will see how it goes!
