I did. I stayed in a train of cars so if someone fell asleep or crossed over the line, it would've been hard to hit me.

I'm glad I met you and Scott this weekend; we had some good conversations.

The 6th JBRL race at Hemet is in the books!! Here's the results, hope I

have it all right. I only have the "A" Main results, we have some good "B"

finishes too, but I didn't get them all, so if someone else does, go ahead and

post! Total entries: 185

19 T. Truck:

1st: Chris Boice ( came all the way from Vegas! )
5th Ryan Dunford
7th Keith Whisler
8th Ryan James
9th Casper ( He broke in the last few seconds! )

That's right, 5 out of 10 running Banzai in the "A" !!

Ex. Stock Buggy

2nd Jeremy Hase
3rd Ryan Dunford
4th Casper
8th Ryan James

Mod Buggy
9th Vanair

Mod Truck
4th Jeremy Felles

19t Buggy
3rd Ryan James
6h Chris Boice

Mod 4wd
4th Vanair

St. Truck Thanks Casper, fixed it!!
1st Keith Whisler
2nd Kyle Boice

St. Buggy
2nd Kyle Boice

Thank you all! Great job in some pretty trying circumstances, heat and a

HUGH 8th scale track! I'll be back with some more "yada-yada" in a bit!

Judi

Spt stock truck is wrong. Keith got 1st and Kyle got 2nd! (there was an expert in the class that did not count for points!)

That is a 1-2 sweep of the stk truck class one of the hardest for the large 1/8th scale type track!

Those Vegas guys are getting way to fast and are a threat in every race they attend. We will have to watch out for them next year if they do the whole series. They will run away with this thing!

Yeah the break in 19T truck kind of stunk. I got bit by the track. This is why they have throwouts!

Why have I not been counted towards running Banzai in any of the races that I've done? I've made the A every time....

5th in the A, spt. stk truck.

Are you only running the one class?

Yeah, I got my buggy from Chris at Camarillo, and at the time, I didn't have a mod/19t. Next year will be a different story though.

Good job guys. Sounds like you all had a good time and did a great job! I wish I could make a trip out there to race with you all. It would be cool for a mississippi boy to go to cali and race. Heck that might be movie material.

Good job again though guys!

Johnny S, yes, you count!!!!! I am so sorry, we have so many

Banzai customers running that I had hoped they would post their

results! I PROMISE not to miss you again, ok??

Casper, thanks for looking that up for me.

Any other Banzai customers, PLEASE post any results you want to!

Just because we are in the Team section does not mean that all

our customers, and friends, even running other products are not welcome

to come in and chat with us!! YOU ARE ALL WELCOME and we appreciate

you all so much. There wouldn't be a Banzai without our customers and

friends!!!!! Thank you all!! And PLEASE come and chat with us!

Us "Vegas Guys (and Gals)" just needed some Banzai power to be the threat that we have become!

Seriously though, since we have been running Banzai motors we have been more competitive. Kyle's Stock CO27's were so fast this weekend that he had no problems clearing that uphill double jump at Hemet. That was the deal breaker in the stock class. My Banzai KD19 turns were so fast that I was actually blowing by mods in practice down the straightaway. I geared them pretty tall and they put up with my "abuse" without a hitch. I can't say emphatically enough how impressed I am with the KD 19 turns! I told Judi and Scott these motors had an identity crisis...they think they are 13 turns!

We want to thank all the people that made with weekend possible. Scott and Judi, you make us all feel like family. Casper and Ryan D., you guys are the masters of setup and help us tremendously. John, Johnny and Joey S., you guys are among the finest families that I have ever met. I hope we keep the Satuday night dinners a JBRL tradition. Chuck F. and Keith W., you guys are great and are fun to spend time with. Kevin T. (aka VegasKevin) and his son Tyler...a guy couldn't have finer friends than you.

If I left a Banzai friend out I'm sorry. Give me the wheel in Bakersfield!

Take Care,

Chris, Kyle and Ashley Boice

I would hope the Boices are coming to b'field. It is the only track that is kind of close to them!

Judi-- You have a daunting task trying to keep us all straight. Banzai nation is exploding around Southern California! Keep up the good work! You and Scott (And Jason!) are the best in the business.

Also I was kicking myself on the way home Sunday. I had a small gift for you and Jason in my back pocket and did not get it to you. We may have to just mail it up to Gendale to make sure I do not forget to give it to you later.

Hi Jesse, thanks for stopping in! We hope to keep Kevin "blazing"!!

Casper, presents?? I LOVE presents!! I think this might be of the

"Chocolate and 10 million calorie kind" ?!

Eric, we sure had a good time meeting you too! And so glad you made it

home ok. Scott reminded me which road that was you were taking home,

and that I have been on it. So, old mother hen that I am, I was

worried!

Jason B. You had the most exciting race of the day. Came down to a

photo finish. Could you post the details?????
