Mom,

I am sorry, I never did answer as to whether I am planning on going to Hemet...first of all it is Hemet. I suppose I should not make fun of it as my fiance lived there for some time and he dad still does. I am going and she will be there too. Rutt Rutt with electric cars! YEY.

Ryan, glad you are coming to race!! The main reason we are

going to Hemet is to eat at the Sizzler!!

Yes everybody this week-end is the JBRL race. Seems to have come about

rather quickly! I have some team orders in, if any team drivers or

customers need anything, email me or call. Of course, I'll have supplies

with me. And Casper's favorite, "The Magic Purse"!!!

BanzaiMom, Happy (belated) Birthday! I've been gone for a few days. I can't believe your 29 I'd swear you weren't that old. I see you like Waylon Jennings and you say you don't like coming up to Bakersfield, man you'd fit right in here.

Derek England - Hey I'll be in Vegas and both me and my buddy Nick will both have lathes so you can borrow mine or I'll cut it for you which ever you'd like. No problem at all.

Jeremy Felles - Hey if you would please could you post or email me your XXX-CR setup. I just got one and want to start in the right direction. Great job at the stock nats. Are you for sure not going to the II-C onroad race in Vegas?

Thanks.......Greg

Greg- I actually run the stock setup using 30-32.5 wt all the way around instead of the 27.5wt that is provided in the box. It works "good" everywhere and was real fast at SoCal when I ran it. Another option for a starting setup (which we've used at the outdoor tracks and the mod nats) is 25 wt on 56s in the rear with white springs. (Those have been discontinued so if you can't find any just go with yellow). The only catch is you have to move the shock location to middle in the rear arm and next to the inside in the tower. You'll also have to take out a bunch of limiting and bring it down between 60-80 thousandths. We also run our hubs back and shift the rear camber links one hole towards the outside of the car. I'll usually keep the front about the same as the stock setup though. Sorry about the disorganized rambling...I hope it makes some sense. Just remember that the confusing stuff towards the end is how we would start on high bite outdoors and you'll be fine.

All- I'm really going to try to get out to Hemet this Sunday for the JBRL; I missed it last year and all the stories I heard made me pretty jealous. I can't wait to see everybody out there. I keep meeting cool new people as I travel to races, but I wanna get back to a race with all of you guys.

P.S. I'd like to congratulate Ronnie Gardner on his A-main finishes at the Modified Nationals this past weekend. He was super smooth through qualifying and slung himself into the A-mains in both 2wd and 4wd which is an awesome feat. Ronnie has been a good friend and tough competitor now for quite a few years and I wanted to publicly recognize his promotion to 100% factory pilot for Team Losi. We are all very proud of him over at the TL and hope that he makes the extra money that will be spent on him worth it.

Hey Greg, actually it's the heat I don't like in Bakersfield!

Jeremy, we're all happy for Ronnie too, even though he's not on

our team, he's a good kid and a good racer!! Hope to see you in

Hemet, I know you like to meet all the new people in your travels, but,

"There's no place like home"!! How's that for corny!!

Little bits of news: Ebi emailed me and Team Durango will be coming

from Germany for the Reedy Race at Hot Rod's. Ebi for sure will be running

Banzai! Also, Jacob Thome is hoping to make the Reedy also!

Looks like we'll have a strong showing in Hemet, the "Vegas Banzai" team

is coming, all the Boice family, and Kevin and his son.

Scott called Jimmy today, just to make sure, the track will be open

for practice on Saturday! We'll be there sometime Saturday.

Man you all must be really busy no posts in 2 days.

I just got back from the races and I had a great time. I went 1st and 2nd in my heats and finished 2nd in the main. The motors were absolutley great! Had the second fastest lap of the day, if second counts haha.

Thanks again everyone!
