Thanks Mom, I will let you know the next time we are going to the track. Brian and I are getting ready to send you a order for stock motors in the next week or so, maybe 6 or 7.

Default Motors

Hi to all ,
Just like to let you all at Banzai know that our club has finally got sick of hearing me winge and have decided to follow roar's lead and go with 17.5 and 27t for stock. On road of course. (You are supposed to get the bit between your teeth not grit.) For me this is a very big deal. I have been campaining for this for a long while and it looks like banzai will be sell motors here for a while yet.
The class did split into stock and superstock but I was pleasantly surprised to see more than 1/2 stayed in stock. (Only a small club so this means about 8 of us)
On a downside my sonoutlaw burnt up a brand new banzai stock motor in the 3rd race. No idea why yet, he runs a t2 with the same gearing as my 007. We will investigate and learn from where we went wrong with set up.
Last but not least I had my 2nd ever win. My car was the fastest but the driver was very bad. I hope as my driving improves that I will be able to show them what Banzai power can really do.
Terry

BM19KD is the part number.

It helps everyone to run with faster people. It is how you push yourself. I got my butt handed to me by hodapp in the 2wd class. Got me all itching to work on my setups and get out there and try and keep up!

Tyler- Just curious. What you running for bats?

I was just curious if you were running lipo. The 4200's should all be your race packs and then practice with the others. You should be good to go for club racing. It is tough and this hobby is expensive. Glad to know you are trying. It does not take big equipment to go fast and have fun though. Get as much practice as you can and you will get faster with time!

P.S. Anytime on the cut!

Ya it can be hard at times...I remember my second year of racing I moved up to the Ex.Classes and everyone had b4's and I didnt have enough money for one so I was still running my b3 and in the Ex.Classes they ran 6min mains and all I had were my dads old like 2400s and EVERY main my pack would die on like the last laps. Once I got good and I would lead till my pack would die...the shop was seeing that I had the skill just not the batts....so they hooked me up with 2 3300's which were like the batts to have back then hahaaha!

So just give it time Tyler and you will catch a break! But do what you can do with the stuff you have right now!

Not to kill the offroad mood, but carpet nats practice starts tomorrow. I'm really excited and expect myself to make a good showing. This is my first nats since 2002 in houston. Hoping this time wont have the horror (and heat) that the last one had.

Amain or bust, rally cry for 2008.
