We will make sure you have a good time, Billy!

I had a VW square back, when Scott and I met, I bought

it at a car auction for $800.00. I made him keep that thing

running until it finally gave up the ghost in the desert!!!

He can keep almost anything running!!!!!!!!!!

Whoops! Forgot to mention, his "daily driver'" is a 1954

Chevy pick-up, I've affectionately named "Toon" because it

looks like a cartoon from the Roger Rabbit movie!!!

1954 chevy pickup.. awesome. We have spent the last couple years inbetween dad being sick and what not building a 52 chevy styline as a daily driver. We put the mustang II front crossmember on it with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering, and camaro rear end. We took the body off, but thats as far as we have got. There is still quite a bit of metal to be replaced and finish replace part of the floor. I hope we can get it driveable for him by this summer.

According to rctech.net, Roar has approved Lipos for the 2008 racing season. Any guess how will this affect racing, such JBRL, Shootout, Cactus, Nats.....

JBRL Lipo's and BL only in mod.

Cactus. Lipo in all classes. BL in all classes. 13.5 in stock, 10.5 in 19T

Shootout ????? Jimmy has not commented yet.

Nats. Lipo in all classes, BL in all classes. 17.5 in stock and 10.5 in super stock.

That is what I know of right now.

I believe the 13.5 is legal in super stock as well at the Nats... I need to get clarification.

The motor limits are just that, limits. You cannot run anything with a lower turn that that but you do not have to run a motor that low. You can run a 21.5, 17.5, 15.5, 13.5 or 10.5 if you choose. In 2009 they will do away with the 19T/10.5 class though and make it a 13.5 BL only class called "super stock"

A 13.5 BL only Does that mean a Brushed motor would be illegal I wonder what will be the hand-out at the Nats

Yes. My understanding is a 19T brushed motor would be illegal. They are talking about making a 13.5 motor available for purchase at a reduced cost at the race or you can bring your own and have it teched and marked for the race.

19ts are done in 2009. Won't be a reason to run them anymore unless you are doing it in mod.

There won't be handout motors any this year. They will tell you wont motors are allowed at each race, then you can either bring your own or buy them there. For awhile its going to be all Epic brushed motors cause they still have a ton left from handouts.

Yes.... Super Stock is down to a 10.5 BL.. so 13.5 is legal.

When youns ( Pennsylvania Dutch term) have all figured this out, with the

"clarifications" and all, give me a call!

In the meantime, Banzai Nitro is looking VERY attractive

at the moment!!

I did nitro sprint cars for one summer. My car looked awesome (IMO) and was fun when it ran right, but otherwise... not worth it lol.
