Indeed, she is pretty cool.

Ill have to check the mag coverage of nats. Does it mention the second try on the can?

I would love to hit up some of these other races, but funding wont let me do more than nats im afraid (unless its something within a small driving distance). Ive got plenty of vacation time and... sick leave... just no $$$. I am going to try to do some racing in Arkansas this summer. Which could be fun. From talking to a guy on the commitee 4wd and Truck are growing classes.

Momo- Unfortunately I won't be able to make it out there. I had a glimpse of hope when I realized I had the snowbirds dates wrong (which we're not going to anyways) but all hope was lost when I saw that there is an HB Underground on-road event that weekend and that is my number one priority over all other things. Hopefully I'll get out there for something else soon.

Momo, nope! I am VERY anti-contraptions!!

No Fax, No Pm's, No instant-messengers, absolutely HATE

answering machines, although Scott made me get one,

and do NOT know how to text message, or retrieve anything

from the cell phone, only know how to call somebody on it !!

If I had my way, I'd still be using a typewriter, wringer-wash

machine ( which I'm sure most of you are too young to have

ever seen ), and my old dial phone, which Scott just got rid of!

We just got DSL, which I do like, and I do like Ebay, YouTube,

and the news on the internet! That's it!!

Default W/Washer

My wife got one of her hands caught in the wringer when she was young. She now has one hand without a dent in the palm.
When i was a kid we lived out of town and had no elect. Kero fridge and carbide lights.

Mitch, I miss seeing that big smile of yours when you win!!

We keep trying to get down there, and something always seems

to come up. This week-end we're even splitting up to get stuff

delivered, Scott to Hot Rod's and I'm going to Pegasus!!

Still got time to make it before the craziness of March traveling

starts!!

TEAM ASH: I never got stuck in one, but my grandma got her

arm caught, was pretty awful! But they sure cleaned your clothes!

Poor Scott!!! Truely, what would you do w/o Judi? You'd be completely lost, AND, considering all the other stuff just being The MRS! Truely blessed sir!

Judi, given all the "kids" on here who run for Banzai and even the honorary drivers like me, whats the total #?

I think we need to all show up sometime and Scott and Judi's for a BBQ sometime. Just get Everyone together in one spot. Its unrealistic Im sure, unless you are in the SoCal area, but think about it, the guys in UK and Aussie plus the guys in the US! Hope Scott and Judi have enough Floor space!

As for the Washboard and the rotary phone, I grew up with one in the house. I think i was in the 6th grade before my folks got the touch tone.

-Funny side story, my moms a school teacher and someone (female student) needed to use a phone and my mom directed them to a phone in a side classroom. The girl came back a few min later needing help using the phone. It was a rotary phone and she couldn't figure it out. *sigh* getting older sux

MoMO, I am the one that is blessed. For almost 30 years he

has taken care of me! AND I am "high maintenance" !

You forgot the Germans! Ebi, Gerd and Fritz !

Don't do BBQ's either, unless you want to do it at the track!!

Ask the guys that are local, I only do Sizzler, and that includes

when the Germans come to visit! Gerd likes their cheeseburgers!

I know where every Sizzler is in SoCal and beyond!!!

Looks like a lot of guys are coming for the Nats and Shoot-Out this

year, so I'm all for getting together at the Sizzler in Santa Clarita!!

Casper will tell you floor space here is "shipping and receiving" !!
