LOL...turbo...yeah...maybe one of those electric ones.

I wasn't offering it up as some exxample of impeccable wiring, just showing it to Scott as a contrast from the other night. I took that ESC out of my X-Ray and I had a ton of extra wire jammed all over. It was a bloody mess.

Any Banzai folks running a BJ4WE?

Im returning to 4wd after a hiatus and prior was a XX4. Quite a difference from then till now. Looking for some gearing tips. I have an old Banzai 13t (I think) Charlie B gave me years ago. Debating on throwing it in. Currently i have an AE motor in it, its a 13x2.

Just have some questions about setup. Also, for you cali folks. I know many of you race outdoor, what are the track conditions like? I run on an indoor clay track w/ high traction & most people use taper pins on their cars. Im wondering if you have any indoor setups for high traction and how to set up suspension.



If I get my Xmas paycheck soon, I'll try and get a couple motors sent up. I'll also need some fresh sticker sheets. I'm having a local racer do up a new paint scheme for me, and I want to represent accordingly!

I don't think anyone here is racing that car, but I

could be wrong.

Turbo, it was just REALLY nice to see the good job you

did and to see such a CLEAN car!! Scott and I both went

WOW! Racing in the dirt, and ok, MUD, we usually see the

cars in a pretty messy state, so it was cool!

I used to wonder how people at Rev kept their 1/8th cars so clean, and mine always looked like they were 10 years old and thrashed. Now I find out that it's just this stuff:



You spray it on ahead of time, let it dry and the dirt and mud practically falls off. Just blow it off with air, or maybe wipe heavy mud off with a brush and it looks like new. Well...LOL...this one IS still new.

It's made for motorcycle plastics...dirt bikes and such...so the dirt and mud won't stick. They sell it at most motorcycle shops.

WD40 works this way as well! If you ever have an old car to sell, clean it good and spray with this stuff and the parts will look like new!

I've used that before for sure, but this stuff seems to work even better. I used to have to wash the car (or parts of it off, then re-spray it...with this stuff, it never sticks in the first place and I never have to really wash it. Maybe wipe off the heavy stuff, but most of it just blows off.

Plus, it smells better.
