Sorry guys, I'm a little behind here with answers!

Billy, glad you are ok! Cars can be fixed, just another

nuisance to deal with!

K-Bojar, yes I have the brushes.

AE 14 I need to email you. If not tonight, then tomorrow!

Hats and shirts won't be here until the 1st of the year. Remember

everyone I posted they have a HUGH order they are working on.

So, ours will be done as soon as they can.

Turbo Joe!!! THANK YOU for the race report! I'm sorry we couldn't

stay, but ever since Scott had pneumonia, we're real careful about

being out in the cold! He said to go up again on the gearing, said

we can probably "gear it to the moon" ! Hope to get back out there

with you and race!! Maybe get a few warm days! It's kind of fun

trying something different, huh??

Yeah, it is fun to play around with new stuff.

I keep thinking how nice it is to have all that extra room. I'm going to get it all spiffied up for next weekend. Hopefully, I'll have some spares for the car...so I'll be able to try some different tires out and get it really dialed.

Did you see the guy that had the big-azz heater? It was a huge propane deal. Between that and all the 500W halogen lights we all use, it was almost (but not quite) warm in the pits.

I wouldn't doubt it could go up another tooth or two. It really wasn't working hard at all. I can't wait to try it again...........................

Hey you guys just raced at Socals last race night, and it was packed. There were people from all over that came for the last night. Its sure a shame to see it go but as the saying goes "out of something bad something good always comes out of it."

Too much slamming for a car with no spares. That and the lack of patience that comes with no sleep. I figured that I would be better off packing it up early. I felt like I was tempting fate as it was...throwing it all together at the last minute.

Sometimes, you just have to declare victory and get the hell out of town...LOL

It ran great and didn't break -- that makes it a plenty good night. Hopefully I'll have a few spares and some more sleep, so that will give me more patience and confidence. It was fun racing with you...see you next week!

Turbo. With the cold weather you should be able to get away with a little bit taller gearing but be careful going too much taller. When the outside temps get warmer you will need to be a little more careful with gearing. Brushed motors can have thermal issues just like your BL stuff!

I was not so fortunate with my SP. I got hit head on by a car going the wrong way and broke a front arm in the main! Oh well. I will get a new one when they get them in stock. I will not race for a little while anyway. Glad you liked the new motor and car.

Yeah, I've heard that (smelled, actually).

DOH! Right under the driver stand? That track has (had ) some really narrow lanes in really inconvenient areas. I did that "trick" a couple times last time I was there.

How was the car for you...I mean...when it had all for corners on it?

Yeah, the track was pretty rough last weekend, but we'll get it back into shape for next Saturday. It was super-dusty on the far side and super squishy on the near side.

I was running Holeshots in the rear and Inside Jobs in the front. Don't go buy tires for last week. The track usually isn't that freaky...LOL

The car was good. TONS of steering. It was good to get some laps on the car. I think I want to take alittle steering out of it and maybe try the mid rear arms again to stabilize the rear end but we will see. The car worked great out of the box so I just drove it but there is some tweaking to do. This car is great though. I love it.

Well, I bit the bullit.

A guy at the track had a BJ4 for sale. Asking $350 w/ a 5.5 novak brushless motor. no esc, some spares etc. I wasn't too keen on the brushless motor (hey Im dedicated to BANZAI!!!) and asked what he wanted w/o the brushless. He told me $275. I was really on the fence about the whole thing. I really wanted a 4wd, but they are so expensive and i have too many cars as it is. So the choices were MRC, BJ4 or the new B44.

Then he came back later and said, I'll let it go w/ the brushless for $275. So its a BJ4 worlds with hop-ups, in incredible shape. I couldn't pass it up. Now I need to drop in an ESC and electronics. I think for 4wd, I'll need Lipo to make it last through a race.

So now, looks like my order for Banzai will include a mod as well.
-Stock motor
-19T - buggy class
-13T mod 4wd
