I don't think you can come to California, between

you, me and the Fez, I'm sure that's more trouble than

anyone can handle!!

BTW: Fez told me yesterday he really wants to come

to Australia! Believe me, the place will never be the same

again! Not sure Japan has recovered yet!!!

I think, as long as we don't go to any toy shops we should be okay. I've been kicked out of 5 toy shops in an afternoon... Apparently, 19 year olds are not allowed to have races in the isle's on little trikes!!!

Mom, get my email about bearings?

I have the old 1980's movies out at the moment, enjoying rambo II at the moment. Need to get the lathe out in a bit and work on some motors...

Ok, I know our cold is nothing compared to the weather

in the mid-west, but we went to Pegasus tonight to deliver

some stuff, and we came home. Just too cold for us to stay

and race. I wish racing started at 2:00 and not 5:00, at

least we'd get it in before the sun goes down and it's

freezing!!

Puddle, new Rambo movie coming out in 2008!!!

Speaking of trouble, B.James, you're my other

partner in crime!!!

The track needs work. Maybe if it doesn't rain, and

they work on it this week, it would be in good shape.

1/8 scales were on the track tonight!

Just so darn cold!!

The trouble spot ending up being half way to enid, north of a small town. Found an ice patch on a curve under some snow. Only place I had seen that was slick. Put he yukon in a bar ditch and got stuck in mud. I go to get some help getting unstuck, come back another guy went off on the same place and had hit my truck. Then a local cop comes up about wipes out. The guys that helped me called the city and they said it was out of the city limits so they wouldnt come sand it, after the cop about wrecked they came and sanded it. It rolls, but we had to use a truck and chains to pull the front bumper off the right front tire, still a piece of front end dragging on the tire, so I had it towed, im gonna work on removing that today so I can get to work. Its not pretty but it will drive lol. I had full converage, so im hoping I can parlay this into fixing a few other dents and dings.

How's the crawler doing??
Thanks Mom...Do you sell the brushes?? If so, I'm gonna be placing an order soon and maybe another checkpoint motor

The crawler is doing ok - just haven't had time to play with it lately while I'm trying to get the house ready for the holidays (including making an "old" room usable again for house guests )

After the holidays die down, i think i'm going to re-do the rear suspension and make it a 4-link...From everything I've read, doing that to the rear really make the F350 a better crawler Then its time for some testing

I'll take as many pics during that time that I can - hopefully I'll get some snowy pics while I'm doing the tests

Well....I raced it last night. It was quite a learning experience to say the least.

New car, that had never even had tires on it...first time with a diff, first time with a brushed mod.

Definitely need to get used to the drag thing. For 3-4 years, I've been messing with brushless motors, trying to get them to drag...now I have an awesome brushed motor that I have to try and make roll a little bit. Pretty cool though. I TQ'd out of 6 guys, so it was pretty dialed. The main was a slam-fest and I didn't have the patience for it on 2 hours sleep with a new car (and no spares for 2 more weeks), so I pulled it off. I'm definitely going to keep it in that car and see what I can do with it.

Now I see why people always freaked out when they drive my other Lazer with the brushless. It's like you have to use the throttle in a completely different way. The brushed is a lot more drivable for sure, it has a little bit of a powerband, so the car isn't as touchy. The brushless...even a 13.5...has so much grunt that you can stab it and spin in circles if you drive it too hard. It's like you have to be really careful not to give a BL too much throttle, but I have to keep on the throttle a lot more and earlier to let it wind up.

I ran the 21T pinion and it never really got anywhere near hot. It didn't have the grunt of the brushless down low...which I'm 100% sure is from the lower voltage of the Lipos...but I was seriously spanking everyone on the straight. LOL. Most of the guys had 13-15 turn motors, while mine's a 19T and I was going around them like they were tied to a post. Well...maybe not that bad, but I was pulling them pretty bad.

I think it adds up to being a lot easier to drive, throttle-wise, but it's SO much different...LOL. It's a lot to deal with on no sleep. My head still hurts.

Thank you so much for bringing it out. I'm going to re-wire that ESC and make it all pretty as a tribute to my new motor.

Well the cars were ok too, but they did fly to the back of the yukon. When it spun around and went down the ditch it bounced pretty good. Im really not sure if that sent the rc stuff flying, or when the other car hit it lol. I looked over it more today in the light, found alot more stuff tore up. This should be interesting.
